For people who asked about using old saves:
It looks like this version uses the same path as the legit version. I started the game and it detected my previous saves.
Those are located in: Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age Inquisition/Save
Give it a try.

Define usable and I'll post a follow up answer:
A) *Slightly* better than it was
B) Better than it was
C) Better than it was + better PC controls
D) Better than it was + better PC controls + actually fucking works like it did in DAO and is legitimately useful in combat |

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

My first impressions of the game are:
1) Graphics quality is inconsistent
2) That is not Leliana
3) What the fuck with the capped framerate cutscenes?
4) That's some weird-ass fast forward benchmark, wut?

So I start a new game with the default world state and wait until first save is created.
Then I use the Save Editor to modify the plot flags according to my decisions in the previous games, save changes and continue from there? Does it work like that?
I guess there is no way to import old Hawke face into yarr version?

There's no face importing in any version. You are given the option to approximate the face in-game using the same character creator you made the PC with.

The Keep doesn't use any save data from either Origins or DA2, it just uses stats/info from Origins uploaded to the Bioware/EA servers. I don't think DA2 even has that much, it all has to be entered manually. The only thing that importing Keep data into Inquisition does is set whether your Hawke was male or female, and what class they were. There is a default morph for each that attempts to approximate the default morphs from DA2, but that's it. Even if you could get the Keep to read your DA2 save data, the morph systems would not be compatible anyway, so you still wouldn't get any face transfer.

Yeah that's certainly true, face system changed a bit between DA2 and DA:I so there's no way it would be compatible and as such it has to be approximated instead in some way, not really sure what the Keep actually contains but what you said makes sense, probably just some simpler variables that are stored server side and synced when you start a new game in DA:I and choose to import a custom world state.
Must have been a bit confused because I expected the game to use Hawke's default appearance and instead it used "that" heh.
(Which I immediately defaulted although I removed that weird blood smear Hawke has, who the hell smears blood across their nose as a makeup? Another strange decision during the creation of Dragon Age 2 I guess...)

This is boring, men. I am at the start, after closing a big rift, when you wake up a couple of days later and the game serves you a power fantasy where people bow down for you, wtf...
I don't like the combat either, I created a mage and only have 4 generic schools of magic to choose from? Where are all the spells, what is going on?
The game gave me some dlc/preorder whatever it is armors. The best one stat-wise makes me look like a transvestite, wth
I am not convinced by the story at all so far. Generic impending but not really doom, you are the only one, the chosen one, your legacy is to save the world lmao ... just because you woke up with a glowing mark on your hand while having no idea wtf is going on. Only YOU can close the rifts, you are a speshul snowflake. Cool story, bros.
That is not Leliana btw.
And the combat ... lmao I just do the 2 spells I have and keep the attack button pressed. I'm too bored to switch to the others except to make them gulp down a potion.
Is this game really worth it, does it shift into high gear somehow?

No, not worth it at all.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
