I'm sure they will change the voice actor for Freeman don't worry about it
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

Why not?
They can create or finish any of existing sidequels as in:
Ravenholm Episode
Episode 4 (not related to mainseries)

i almost think valve would be too scared to release it, because theres so much hype that nothing they do could ever meet the expectations...
but then again, fanboys can go either way... either rage that its not as good as they hoped, or say how awesome it is regardless how bad it turns out

Well if it's on Githhub any one contributor could have placed it there.
(Could probably be checked pretty easily too who added it and when.)

yeah most likely , iirc they even said on Valve Dev Days that they intentionally put some stuff inside the games because they know that the fans will tear apart every piece of update and other stuff from them

well, once oculus type of thing goes mainstream, I can see it happening. only some such leap is enough for hl 3 to leave us in awe. first hl mastered game design in 3 dimensions, 2 had physics, 3 can have VR I guess.

At the price they're currently targeting, they've scuppered any chance of it ever going mainstream. Greed destroys all things.

I wouldn't be surprised if Portal 3 and HL2EP3 (or whatever they decide to call it) were launch titles for SteamVR

A Half Life game developed by Arkane, and Gabe murdered it to make more TF2 hats and Dota2 skins

Call me delusional, but I've been convinced of this for some time now.
They used hl2 as a "Trojan Horse" of sorts to make us all sign up and install steam.
Will they use hl3 to make us buy their VR set? It wouldn't surprise me I must say.
However, it that's the case they must be really good at keeping secrets. Isn't the launch of their VR set quite near? And basically nothing about the game has surfaced so far except uncorroborated rumors.

@The_Leaf I always found the series was a means of showcasing new technology, i would be surprised if they didn't build one of their titles centered entirely around VR. HL2 with OR2 is phenomenal like a completely new experience in stereoscopic 3d.
