I buy games from chepest region via VPN on my main account and paying with a debit card. No issues so far. But I'm not too worried. I'm no games collector, I only buy few games that I want to play and aren't cracked (= denuvo protected). So if they block me I'll just make a new account and continue (and family share it to my new main account so I can play everything from single account)

think features like family share get disabled too, and once you bought from russia -> store is locked to that region. if you only bought via russia and nothing else and with a debit card i think they wont ban you

Well, in that case I'll just have to log on the correct account - provided I'll be so "lucky" to end up banned. No big deal. Still beats the super high Euro prices.
And strange, I can change currency easily...I successfully switched a few times between Russian, Malaysian and Brazilian and back to Russian. No lock or anything.

Yes, and I switched twice during those 4 months...I just had to connect to VPN and in account settings (https://store.steampowered.com/account/) change the currency to the country I'm connected from, make a purchase and it stays locked to that currency until you do this again for another game from another country VPN.

Yes, this is the way to go if you buy Steam games with another currency. Steam actually has support for this for a while now and if you do this correctly you can safely do this and not have any locks either. It's still a risk if you buy through VPN of course.

Supposedly the latest 1.5 patch did a lot of revamping and there's an upcoming patch that also brings some more fundamental balance changes, hopefully those *radically* improve the game because the base experience was less than stellar.
