I bought this headset off ebay uk today.

I have been looking it up i have the mobile version which has only one lead where on many of the other versions have 2 leads.
I hooked it up but i can't get the microphone working?
It is supposed to be compatible with pc's and i don't think it is 'mobile' version only?
I want to chat in game online on my pc using this.
Any ideas to try and get it fixed?
I know others have bought the usb thing but that is for the 2 lead version only as mine only has 1 lead.

I think you are screwed if you want to use the mic on pc, you need 2 jack plugs

But this is supposed to be compatible with the pc yet it only has one lead so i can't use one of them jack plug adapters?

It's "compatible" with PC as a pair of headphones, but without a combo jack (those are usually only laptops, no?) there would be no way of getting headphone and microphone support off a single lead/jack. You'll need something like this;

I've started using my old one again, i forgot all about this before using the new one i have just bought.
I never used this old mic correctly, i just used it as a headset and not a microphone/headset ffs, what a dick.
I just never plugged the wires in the jacks correctly hahaha.
I did get it working at one point but i forgot all about it.
Oh well, i will keep using this one i think.
