Still looks damn awesome. Shame that Sony (at least I believe it's Sony) is keeping the devs under wraps with the release date. Can't wait to play the game.
If they can make a proper game out of this, it can be amazing. It could also become tedious and boring after a few planets. Right now I think this looks great, can't wait to play it.
I was keen a few months back, then I watched some gameplay vids on the tube and read a little more about it and kind of lost interest. I watched that vid when you landed on a planet then started shooting a few of the natives animals, quite quickly the player was swarmed with the sentinel bots and it all escalated into a full blown war.. :/ Also it seems the main focus of the game is exploration. and there's no multiplayer from what I understood. Preceduraly generated universe, there goes that terminology again. I don't know I started even getting put of with the art style in the end. It's not the game I thought it would be. I was hoping for some epic space shoot em up really and it seems far from that.
I'm getting really tired of this now. Announce a release date or seriously STFU about the game. Really.
Well, 10 people developing a single game requires a lot of time. Unlike Ubisoft, who has 10 studios working on a single game, then rush it and in the end it's crap.
I like the idea of this game and so far it looks solid. They should take their time. There are enough early access games already.
Another one that should shut up and work on his game. Hasn't even got a release date!
Besides everyone has seen the same bit by now!
This. I'm just getting tired of seeing that smug grin and fobbing off whenever people ask about release date, all the while constantly pushing and hyping the same footage or the same aspects.
i agree... and I'm sure we're not the only ones who feel this. either release the fucking thing or shut up and spend the time to make it instead of wasting time promoting it so that the public is so frustrated they dont give a fuck anymore

imho, this game is getting hyped so much that it can only fail expectations... Regardless of how its gonna turn out. Ambition is great and all, but its so shrouded in mystery that its worrisome.
Tbh I get the feeling that the reason they are showing the same stuff over and over again is because there is not much else to the game. Procedurally generated exploration game seems like a horrible idea anyway. What's the point of exploring if it's all generic filler content?

thats what i believe... i mean, what they've shown is cool so far. But it wont be after doing it 100 times and the smooth music wont help after 1000 cool looking jumps to wherever.
Yeah, I fear it'll go the way of Starbound. Everyone hyped about an infinite universe, random content etc, and then everyone finds out that exploring generic worlds is boring after like number 3, and people stop playing and it kinda fizzes out.
Goddamn Starbound, was so hyped and then never played it again after the first week.

I uninstalled it after they took out all the cool looking monsters and replaced them with ugly cartoony pokemon. I've felt better buying games from EA and UBI than I do about buying that steaming pile or shit.

Agreed, Not to mention how many broken gameplay systems they failed to just put 2 seconds of thought into when designing the game.
