I actually like the ability to change visuals (decals etc) as much as you like. I spent most of my time in Carbon or pro street or whatever it was changing the cars paint-vinyl combos Very Happy

But promoting the ability to change paint color and hue, saturation, brightness etc Confused It's 2015, it's not something new to add Very Happy

Photoshop had a Saturation/Brightness option ages ago with more flexibility before NFS had 60fps Laughing

Don't worry, EA has enough time to release a statement how 60FPS just won't deliver the needed authenticity and vibe and they will have to cancel that plan Very Happy

@difm Oh no I bet they're working hard on it, it's not like it's as much effort like in Rivals, where it only took a few people to figure it out and let it work correctly after some time, otherwise we would be looking at a year from now! Laughing

Had fun with those, but 1998-2000 was definitely the peak period of NFS for me.

as soon as they went fast and furious, i stopped actively following the series.

hur hur hur derp derp

might be a nice arcaderacer with 60fps and without the fucking film cripple filter. gfx wise its nothign specials, cars look great, tuning options too (visual and performancewise). but ps4 cant even deliver steady 30fps, and 30fps -> especially in racing game is bah. feels so sluggish. and way to much motion dur

and ofc i might be 15 years too old for the "story", though the idea with the real persons combined with the cgi cars and backrounds and whatever is really nice. just not my underground ghetto racing stuff (raicng some idiot,he brings you to a club with "awesome and cool" people drinknig from red cups, and in the backroom is agarage and blabla. derp derp

kinda yes, but havent found the option to deactivate the fucking actioncam when driving around corners. handling modell is intuitive arcadey, just as expected. only got one car so i cant say if the others are boatstyle. as i said, game crashed and doenst load up. even my ps4 hasnt powered on after that. had to unplug it for 5 minutes and boot safe mode... enough with this shit for today

Nope, more like underground IMO.

Great game though. Seems a steady 30 fps here on ps4, weird that you have slowdowns.

the story is indeed silly but it s very much welcomed in a racing game,

The transition from fmv to in game are really nice too.

The graphics : it looks like batman arkham knight IMO,
So quite nice.

Preordered here ! I was seduced by this NFS.

The car upgrades mechanism is really simple and quite effective, if I remember correctly it was similar in underground.

ok tried it aswell on friend's PS4 (couple hours):
    - all night driving on wet roads(i guess for it to look good) with bland environments
    - openworld feels bare and lifeless , - map is small with little variety
    - graphics are nice but doesnt look clean
    - customisation is great - plenty of options and user friendly
    - the menu and UI is clusterfuck and the constant notifications are really annoying.
    - Story and FMVs are cheesy and cringe-worthy
    - annoying constant cell phone ringing to give you updates on where to go and fill in the story
    - sound design is great
    - automatic transmission in this game feels strange and shifts IMO not where it should (no manual)
    - no sense of speed and most of the cars feels like heavy tanks (gets a bit better after tuning)
    - no pause - even when you look at maps , your car still rides
    - AI is pretty bad (when they’re ahead they slow down and when they’re behind they speed up)
    - lots of always online problems even in beta (a lot of lost connections and reconnection and lost progress), requires really steady connection
    - game has to verify with the EA servers that you purchased a digital thing for your car with the in-game money... Every time you paint or add decals to your car you need to wait for a connection with EA servers.

Always online will allow us to make the game so much better guys!!!

Holy shit, sounds like there's a huge amount of issues that are caused by that alone. Most likely they don't see it that way, they just see them as features!

I got booted off many times because of server issues while in the middle of a race.
Also the game crashed on me twice.

But it's a beta so... They have time to fix this. Most likely the beta is supposed to be testing/stress test the game servers too.

Server issues and errors are part of the experience, they add that sense of unpredictability and thrill to races, like having an amazing Independence-Day-mothership-sized cloud hovering over our heads. Simcity V worked the same way with fantastic results. According to our internal testing at Redwood, such potential crashes increase blood pressure and heart rate which means that the user is much more involved and entertained!

Only way I am going to buy this game is mandatory 60fps AND drop always requirement.

While this delay sounds great and all but what's the fucking point of 60fps if you are gonna get a game with a shitty netcode in addition to always online requirement.

It's gonna be D3 launch all over again but with even more shittier servers.
