avoiding those "so called" oneshots takes skill. Ive grinded all my way through the US tank line to the Patton/M103 and its far from being "zero skill invoved"

There is a reason WOT is a esport game and WT isn't.
WOT is skill based, WT is not. Skill has much less influence in WT than it does in WOT.
"Realistic" tank mechanics can't be skill based because everytime someone basicly hits you, you die. That's just how it is.
You can't make a competitive game like that, thus it sucks.
Maybe for casual bob it might be fun but definitely not for me.

It is still not a competitive game like WOT is and like AW will proapbly be so it is just plain bad in my opinion. Realistic games are never fun anyway, apart from driving simulators.
WT is dead in water, no one plays that shit.

I still can't believe they've been wasting time, money and human resources on this.. Perhaps they should have focused on POE so that it would be better than it is now

It has lower alpha, lower arc of fire its more accurate and faster firing, when it fires it gets shown on the map, if it fires 3 times without moving it gets spotted for 10seconds. Tanks get a 6th sense type warning if arty is targeting them.
Looks more fun to play and play against.

early access starts May 27th, so i'm guessing it will be lifted then.

Can't wait for the second part to start on 10th, had very little time to actually play on first EA.
But seemed way more fun than WOT is, with no XVM or broken arty to oneshot us Unicums.

it's same ui and gameplay, but different
arty is different, it's rapid firing, less damage, no one-shotting, and lights on map if fires 3 rounds from the same place
there are no heavy tanks, most are MBT, but a lot of other stuff, slowest tanks are ~40km/h, fastest ATVs are 90km/h
also guided rockets, composite armor, reactive armor, active armor, smoke launchers, etc..
battles seem more dynamic, if you like WoT, give it a try

So, I've almost opted in for the OBT, but it seems the game would install yet another thrid-party crap (my.com launcher and shit). Do I understand it correctly?
Also, are keys going to be sent out for the OBT, or is it going to be like totally up for grabs for virtually anyone?

The only things I see when I use such a game, I mean a game with progressive weapons, is players that have better weapons just like when the cheaters does more damage in other games.
And now, just to proove I'm all right, in world of warship, even when the beta started, some players had cruiser while most had destroyers. And when you ask question about this, you always get bs anwser.
So by legit cheating I meant that such games are made to be able to cheat without most people to know that they cheat. So legit cheating.
Now it's going to be fun to watch the cheaters whine about my post.

that's not cheating, it's a business model. question is how you do it. for example, even wargaming - which i consider to be one of the most money-hungry devs in the business (pretty much like any f2p dev) managed to strike a balance with premium tanks (ok, type59 was OP as fuck and probably still is, but the rest is pretty even with others in the same tier and some are also quite shitty or special snowflakes). might just take a while.
now with WoWs or AW, being new games, of course they put in absurd stuff right at the beginning, so you might buy it too to level the playing field. but if they don't have decent catch up mechanics in place or nerf the founder pack stuff eventually, the game will crash sooner or later.

I'm not sure, but I think it's possible these game have been made more for cheating than money. Anybody smart with a good vip pass can cheat and own. The fish come by tons.
