the s cpus are useless, much slower and not really less warm and power consumption

Well the z170 mini boards havent been released either so.. S or not, either way, i still have to wait -.-
But i wouldnt call a -200Mhz cpu much slower

The K version is 20£ more expensive + it doesnt come with a cooler (again more money) + the z board is again more expensive so those 200Mhz and the ability to overclock would cost me around 100£ and for a system that will probably run 90% of the time dota anyway, its not worth it

its not only about the 200mhz, the s cpus (atleast the older gens) are much slower even compared to same non s cpu with 200mhz lower clock speed. and they are called t now arent they? price is the same to non k cpus. think i read a few weeks ago something about 190 dollars for the i5 6500 (non k) with 3,2ghz and the i5 6500t for the same price but only 2,5ghz. official tdp is 65 vs 35 though (k cpus are 95w tdp), but thats only official data sheet. in normal usage you most likely wont notice a huge difference

And no, not the T ones, fuck those
Previously there was K (85W), non K (still 85W), S(65W) and T(35W), but for skylake there's only K, S and T. The i5 6600 is S, its clocked at 3.3ghz and should be about 5% slower according to the article
