Any information of the story? Just kidding. I bet it's going to be just as stupid or even worse than before. The game looks almost identical to the previous one. Even all the icons and menus are the same.

Can't wait to shoot hundreds of brainless enemies in the face. Platforming and exploring tombs is so 90's anyway...

Yeah, TR was always famous for its story.

Add more tombs to explore, I'll like the game. Simple as that.

The real question is why are you even defending this shit? Have you even played the old Tomb Raiders made by Core? Do you even know what real patforming looks like? There's absolutely no skill involved in grabbing ledges that are visible miles away. It's a fucking disgrace. The platforming is totally dead. That's why they're trying to replace it with some kind of pathetic storylline and mindless 3rd person shooting. Mimimum puzzles, less tombs and slow exploration, more dumb action - perfect for current generation. Gongratulations.

obviously he really enjoyed the first game. Not everyone here was playing the original on a pentium with a voodoo card or a ps1, or they simply prefer big budget casual games that rule on consoles these days.

No matter how much we shake our head in disbelief, the 2013 tomb raider was a critical and user rated success. Somehow adding tits onto a 3rd person shooter with barebones platforming and 3 minute "tombs" turns games into hits.

It should be studied as a phenomenon, not ridiculed.

the only reason the first 3 tomb raider games were super successful was because of TITS

Poor attempt at a dumb joke, besides being wrong.

I personally consider anniversary, legend and underworld to the best from the series, but I do respect the first 4 games. they were challenging and didn't hold your hands, + the original was a pioneer for action adventure games in 3d graphics.

I played the original on a 486 DX2 66... in 320x240. And I finished it.

So yeah, "obviously i didn't play the original one".

I don't buy that you finished it on a 486. It barely ran (sloooow), animations wouldn't work, and the sound didn't work right (screeching and squealing). Even a pentium 1 had issues with it.

My mistake, you are right. I had an Intel Overdrive on my DX2 66 Razz

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_80486_OverDrive

And it was running the fine in 320X240 but 640x480 was a slideshow.

the question from the post above mine was why are you defending this game. I answered, because obviously you enjoyed the first game, meaning 2013 tomb raider. bad wording on my part Very Happy

There's so many more things they could have done with the formula they had for that trilogy. I love those 3, but there were some things done better in the older games. In any case, those were exactly what modern Tomb Raider should have been. Oh, and I still believe that Anniversary was one of the best remakes ever done, for any game.

I replayed recently Legend, Anniversary and Underworld and while I loved them all when playing them back then, I thought that in 2015, the best one was Anniversary.

Don't ask me why though, because this one is less cinematic and the story less developed than Legend or Anniversary yet I found it better.

I think the locations and the puzzles of TRA are better, that's why. And the bosses and the musics also are epic (the TREX and the Centaurs). The bosses in Legend and Underworld are really lame.

Or maybe because I'm nostalgic of TR1 Razz

But as said just above me, the old ones had something special, that I think only TRA managed to recover. For me the best TR of the decade, maybe even better than TR2013 Smile

Ya might give anniversary another play through, I just wish we still had a game with:

Skill based platforming.
Survival based gameplay, tr had limited healthpacks and ammo.
Puzzles that require brain use.
Atmosphere / isolated feel classic tr had.

Fuck these new games with shrunk tits. They're TITS not tits. FFS

what? no. i personally prefer a B-C cup to be honest.

just for tomb raider because that's what the game is known for. TITS. and only TITS. nothing else.

otherwise why would they figure so prominently on the cd covers?
