Oh boy... this just looks... "lame" is the best word I can think of at the moment.
Man vs machine. For some reason this gives me major Deus Ex vibes. Are the intentionally pushing for it? Even the music. It's going to be some random crap in the end anyway. The Deus Ex team twitter pic really hit the spot back when they revealed BO3
Oh and the facial motion capture. Is it just me or voice tones etc don't match animations at all
My god, not this super-ultra-futuristic-robot bullshit...they should really make a proper CoD game...like Vietnam era, Gulf War or whatever, just not this Star-Wars era.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 presents the most ambitious campaign yet. Treyarch discusses their vision of the Black Ops 3 world, shedding a bit more light on just how far down the rabbit hole goes.
Yeah, whats happened to this franchise. My god, I used to look forward to Call of Duty titles as something to get excited about back during the pre- Modern Warfare times. Now it's turned into a joke that only really appeals to the derp generation of gamers.
Call of Duty hasn’t had a great campaign mode since the days of the Modern Warfare series due to the series huge focus on multiplayer. Treyarch is looking to remedy this by making sure that every mode receives the same amount of love as the other.
Certain press outlets got a look at the game’s campaign mode during a preview event last week, which revealed quite a few new details about the game you may not have expected.
According to a video preview released by VideoGamer, you can apparently play the last level of the campaign first if you’d prefer. The game will end once you finish the mission, or at the sake of story spoilers you can go back and play through the rest of the campaign to see how the events lead up to the finale. The developers are taking somewhat of a “Netflix” style approach to the campaign, allowing you to jump in at any point you’d like.
The VideoGamer crew also confirmed that the campaign includes a total of 20 levels and should take the average player around 14-15 hours to fully complete. This makes the campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 the longest campaign to date for any Call of Duty title. Treyarch, however, is stressing that the game’s story will apparently “blow your mind” and is “multi-layered”.
Customization is also a big factor in the campaign mode this year as well, a first for the series.
Well, Treyarch's campaigns have actually been quite fun.. the BLOPs series in general have been fun to play, I really enjoyed BLOPs1 and absolutely adored the sequel. For SP at least.
