A crash in prologue which you can bypass with a save game and also a crash in mission 46 which you can bypass with some mod that disables the cutscenes for that mission so you'll have to watch them on youtube. IMO the crack is good enough for a playthrough unless you really need a perfect crack. |
I need one that works with Phenom II CPU.

Err....about the Blood Runs Deep mission. Spoiler: | So, I escorted the kids to the LZ, put the injured one on the chopper, hopped in...and we just left without the other 4 kids, and the MB cutscene only had the injured kid. Kinda messed up, but at least consistent.
I just assumed they would hop in by themselves, and by the time I realized what was up, the pilot was already taking off. >.< |

TPP is ~33€ on Gamers-Outlet, just in case someone wants to get it, that's pretty close to the before release price.

Is it possible to safely import a "free" Ground Zeroes save to the legit MGS V ? I still have those, wondering if i can use them...I know it's not really worth the trouble, the bonuses are nothing amazing, but was just curious.

While it recognises the save, the only way you get the full benefit is if you upload the save from GZ to their servers, then download it in TPP. Still, it seems like you do get a few extra volunteers just by having the save locally. I don't own GZ and used the save with no issues. They aren't doing anything about rampant cheating in the FOB mutiplayer apparently, so I doubt policing GZ saves is going to be high on their to-do list.

Strange, I never uploaded the save to their servers and importing it gave all the bonuses such as the new research projects and K as one of the base staff.
Spoiler: |
And again when I did the side-op where you rescue him but I still only have one of them among my staff so that was probably just if you didn't get him from Ground Zeroes but if you did they still allow you to do the side-op too but with no additional benefits.
(Would have been fun to have two of them though.)

Yes, I got the side-op to rescue him, but someone said they already had him in their crew before that, so I assumed the side op was part of the base game and importing the save gave him to you early. So the side-op only appears when importing the save?
What are the extra research projects?

I think it's only the Ground Zeroes Sneaking Suit, a gold bionic arm and the Cyborg Ninja Skin.

Wait, the same folder? I had the GZ saves in usedata/xxx/311340 and TPP saves look to be in userdata/xxx/287700 (or is it the other way around?).

I checked again and it seems to be like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\*\287700\local (MGSV: TPP)
PERSONAL_DATA0 (Profile related?)
PERSONAL_DATA1
TPP_CONFIG_DATA0 (Game settings and such I guess.)
TPP_CONFIG_DATA1
TPP_GAME_DATA0 (Game data of some sort I assume.)
TPP_GAME_DATA1
TPP_GRAPHICS_CONFIG (Text, graphics settings.)
And then there's also these:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\*\311340\remote (MGSV:GZ)
PERSONAL_DATA (profile file?)
TPP_CONFIG_DATA (Another game config file?)
TPP_GAME_DATA (Save or just progress/unlockables?)

So it looks like I originally put the saves in /311340/ and not /311340/remote/ I was sure when I first started the game it flashed up a message saying that it detected a GZ save and certain things were unlocked. Interestingly the 2 save data files are still there, but it looks like it deleted the transfer data file.
Anyway, I just put the 3 files in /311340/remote/ and chose download GZ save from the main menu and the sneaking suits and gold arm were unlocked. No notices about new personnel, but maybe I need to do a side-op to trigger the volunteers screen. I guess that means that the "download" does work for local saves, and presumably the download part refers to Steam cloud saves rather than anything stored on Konami's servers.

JB, another really curious thing with the save files for GZ, the CODEX release specifically. It makes the folder in My Documents, but leaves it empty and puts the actual save files in the Temp folder from AppData\Roaming. I don't even... haha...
