I see. Is that really a thing that companies do?
When I emailed Logitech about my mouse breaking down our exchange went like this:
- My mouse has developed x problem.
- Return it to the store.
- No can do, I no longer live in that city.
- Ok, give us your address, we are sending you a new one.
At worst I've heard asking to send them your product. Destroying it?  Never heard of it.

After four hours the Logimouse was still 100% intact, until we lost contact with the spaceship. We thought it was just the normal consequence of being in proximity of the star, so we breathed a sigh of relief, the Logimouse was finally going to get destroyed.
Then this morning, out of the blue, our receiver emitted a bleep, and we got this instagram notification D:

Mix petrol with styrofoam. The petrol will eat the styrofoam and form a thick viscous liquid ( ghetto napalm, basically. )
Coat the mouse with the mixture on asphalt or something, light it up and film it.
