It's a huge gimmick and requires atrocious drivers that render in like, java or flash or some stupid shit. Real pain in the ass cause you have to install extra stuff to get the driver software to work.

Hmmm.
Because I was blaming the issues that I got with mine due to some weird conflict from disconnecting some older PCI cards including a sound card but now, well...
BTW the gigabyte site only lists the 1.0 SOC, I'm assuming you meant the 1.1? Since the 1.0 still has the E2201:

Only reason I got rid of my z87 board at the time, due to it having that dreadful NIC, never again!

Ya it's a piece of shit. I don't even know how they're still around.
also someone is fucking lying to me.

Newegg says 1.0 doesn't have the NIC. I don't order my board till tomorrow so I'm asking questions BEFORE I order now -.-
I'ma be fucking pissed if 1.0 revision has it.

Oh you fucker, you had me all up in arms for nothing haha.
The board you linked was the "Force" edition.
I'm getting the regular SOC

That is one switch I'll never make.
Besides, my 7950 still OC's like a beast and handles almost every game on high/max. Only game that it struggles with is Ark and...well that's an Alpha game.
Thought about joining the NFO Ark group but....last time I joined a group game I burned down the entire city ya'll built
It's Neon's fault he gave me a lighter.

Never again i will buy killer NIC motherboard, their driver package really sucks, what i ended up doing was install the bloatware driver, then extract the driver part of the files from windows folder, uninsall the bloatware driver and manually install the driver.

The only killer NICs for home usage are Intel's NICs. Thanks to very solid driver support. Everything else Realtek, Marvell etc. are mostly crap. I'm not sure about Qualcomm but I would still prefer Intel until 'proven else'.

I love wasting hours overclocking but having controls on the board and not having to restart into the bios is going to be fucking convenient.

Nice! Welcome to the darkside!
About the Killer NIC though, the issue mostly stems from the horrible "control software" they bundle with the driver. You can install the driver without it by simply directing Windows to the location of the driver inf file through driver update in the system settings.
That said theres no real need for these gimmicky interfaces, personally I wouldn't avoid it though if it came bundled and the price was right ie same as any other board, because as I said, theres a way around the bloat.

Yeah I installed it without the retarded software, which is on the same level of retardation as all the other "Tweak" and "Gaming" tools out there. Be honest, have any of you ever had any bit of software like that, which didn't suck?
Other than the shitty software the NIC itself is just fine. So, install the driver and skip the rest, job done.

I have a Moto G, it's a great phone but one thing it doesn't do right is it's piece of shit camera.
This bios on this thing is fucking stellar.
I just bought this case for it all a week ago.
Going to take the metal grills off and paint them orange <3
Waiting for EK to release their Predator cooler so I can overclock it. Should be out in like, a week or so.

Temporary haha. The stock cooling mounting method..fucking hell I was cursing up a storm, what a cheap piece of fucking trash. For once AMD actually does something better than Intel.
My EK Predator 240 water cooler will be here Monday
Also just got back from the shop, went in with the grills from the case and painted them pumpkin orange. I really like how it turned out.
