I notice some folks aren't too happy with the game structure of this metal gear, to be fair though it's similar or at least reminds me of the portable op's games and PW. So it's a borrowed mechanic which has been around for close to a decade now, and not a new thing Kojima did here. Of course if you didn't own a psp then you would never have played those games and would never had known. I can understand why some folks are thinking this game isn't what they expected however. Personally I'm still playing and finding myself going back to play/finish it, even if elements are repetitive. I think it's still a pretty deep game, with lots of shit going on and little touches that you discover the more you play it. If you've only played it for an hour or so, it does reward you the more you play. Then again if you really are disliking it at the moment, it probably won't get any better for you later on.
One thing about the open world design that I don't like is the lack of big facilities. I want to see a bit more indoor action, just to spice things up. Also it would have been great if it isn't just Afghanistan and Agola- Zaire. They could have separate locales that aren't nearly as big, but big enough to support different approaches. For example there is a mission where the objective cannot be reached without go through valleys. You can still choose which path to take, so it is not completely linear, but you would have to go through outposts to reach it. Now imagine that section of the map is an entirely different location on Earth.
Basically, instead of just 2 big open world maps, there's also a few small zones made for specific missions. But otherwise I really have no major complaints about the gameplay of this game, it is top notch.
better dialogue, characters and story?
mgs 1-3 and peace walker definitely.
mgs4?
no, it has some of the worst dialogue in gaming and the story is nothing more than a ridiculous fanfic, it was clear that kojima was really forced to do that game.
Nah, I'm talking about the gameplay, I didn't say anything about the story. Snake sucks now because of Keifer Sutherland imo, Snake will always be David Hayter (for English lang snake) I have no idea why they replaced him anyway.
I don't have any respect for the TPP Big Boss at all. It doesn't sound like him, he doesn't act like him, and his blank stares in emotional or panicked situations makes me wonder what the hell they were actually thinking by having him this way. I mentioned before that they should have called him Quiet instead of Venom Snake, but I'm leaning more towards Lobotomised Snake now.
Remember Kojima saying that the player choices is what matters and they will speak through actions not words. Finish the game, there is a reason for why Snake doesn't talk that much.
I can't say I like it, but at least there's some logic behind it.
@Interinactive Nice Tranq gun Sadly even the FOV mod doesn't change the iron sights, they're hardcoded that way...

Putting her into "cover me" mode means I can stroll through outposts
You can do that even without the suppressor. It's actually far more hilarious, as her first shot will aggro the entire base and most of them will charge off across the map after her, leaving you free to loot all their shit. Although one time when I tried that on one of the bigger bases she got shelled to (almost) death.
Nah, not yet. As a last resort i installed all the Win10 updates and my Eset Security. Same shit. I just wait patiently for a working crack now. If nothing comes out, well too bad.
Bobo the crack is working! It is your Windows. Crack 3 wont help you I can tell you that. The only thing the asian babe might've changed is the timezone issue. The rest is working.
Better do it the brutal way go back to Win7/8 ^^. Or work on your goddamn admin read/write rights.
What is still the problem Bobo? You seem to have no control over you slave Win 10 thats disappointing. You gotta work for your admin rights against your defender firewall onedrive uav problems. And soon. Or the asian babe is very sad you are not playing her beautifully cracked game. She worked hard for it.

PW was ported to PS360, quite a few people with access to consoles have played it.

I agree, for the most part.
I didn't like PW's story (still better than MGS V's of course ) and as cringeworthy MGS4's is I still cared more about it and its characters than MGS V's.
While experiencing MGS V's story my only reaction was that of V himself.. Just silently watching, showing no emotion at all. Nothing interesting happens in this game and there are no interesting characters either.
MGS4 made me cringe but at least it made me DO and FEEL something even if it was this ->
MGSV on the other hand I'm like (with the exception of Quiet's BOOBS OUT scenes which make me cringe, yes these are the only scenes that make me react at all in the game)
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Btw how can you put
"I changed the voice actor, because I needed more emotions" or something
and
"The protagonist is going to be more silent"
into one equation?

Life eeehhh- Kojima finds a way.

A bit problematic for this game is that sometimes you dont know if they can should or dont see you. I mean if its totally realistic you cant do shit during the day. They should see you clearly from almost everywhere. But when you crawl they seem to be extremely blind which is good.
Has anyone here actually gotten it to work? I don't even know how many times I've attempted it now. What's worse is that even when it does trigger now (the 4th conversation) the task isn't checked off. I looked at someones video and I do it 1:1 the way they do (in fact I do even less, I don't touch the game world at all).
Then when I hit the checkpoint, the interpreter was already in the room when it normally takes him a few minutes to walk there, so his friend walked alone. Then the prisoner arrived and I had to do a '60 meter trick' (listed on the Steam forums) to get the conversation to trigger, but again, nothing happens when it finishes.
I even bought the sneaking suit + stealth camo for this. No help whatsoever.
Buggy piece of shit!
yeah that was bugged to hell for me which shat me because i waited listening for ages trying to get it to work, i even restarted a few times so wasted hours on it.
It didnt work until i left which means i missed it, one thing i didnt try was the cigar to see if speeding time forced it to work, try that.
I finally did the fucking thing today. After 7 retries all the scripts finally fell into place:
Basically I phantom-cigar'd the time forward (after the male and female interrogation actually triggered, more often than not the interpreter doesn't even arrive and the guards shot the prisoners ) to around 8 PM and then waited on the rooftop opposite the viscount interrogation house, about 20 meters away.
I literally shouted "fucking finally" out loud after the checkmark popped up.
(I was so worried about doing this shit that I didn't back out to ACC immediately, but actually finished the mission. You don't have to do that normally, the side objectives count the moment you do them even when you abort the mission).
