So..Lithuania vs Tony Parker is the final. Razz I'd say well deserved after all.

I was shocked that French didn't surrendered immediately Cool Face

I was rooting for Lithuania Razz, but to be honest they deserved it, very solid team overall, especially the two stars Parker and Batum who didn't disappoint (unlike our Belinelli Mad )

Haha so far you're doing very well. Smile France and Greece are going strong too.

These groups are crazy as always, Italy for example went from losing trainwreck_mode against Iceland to looking like NBA supermen against Spain tonight.

That 'location: Germany' is deceiving xD, BLaM is leading the group Very Happy. Thankfully we're already qualified, otherwise the match against Serbia would have hurt!

Wow, fuck that Berlin group Laughing

We're having our contintenal tournament (and qualifier) right now as well (minus muhrrika cause they're already in Rio 2016) and we made it to the semifinals and still stand a little chance to get the direct ticket to the Games Very Happy Gonna be very hard though, going against Canada who are "plagued" by NBA players (our only NBA decided not to play the tournament) and the most offensive team by far. We have the best defense in the tournament so far, so at least we got some weapons to show against that powerhouse Razz

Aaaaaaaaand, we performed the miracle! The best defense overpowered the best attack with all and their 9 NBA players (one of them who was rookie of the year 2015).

I don't care if we win the final or not now... we're in the Games!!!

Sorry for the slight out topic Very Happy

Thanks ixi! Very Happy

Poland made a great effort but Gasol was possessed today Shocked, especially in that last quarter (plus great Spain defense).

France v. Turkey next, looks like a great match.

EDIT: And we did it! These brave guys came into the tournament hoping to steal a spot in next year's olympic qualifers and they'll come back home with the title of champions of the American zone. I'm really happy now Very Happy

Indeed, basketball tonight had the precedence over football, and it didn't disappoint. Terrific match, except for those lethal 5 minutes when metal strength was lost and never found again. Congrats Lithuania, the better team won (again) Sad Razz

2 dumb fouls near the end cost you the game. that's why I'm not a huge fan of non nba basketball. end game is all about fouls and free throws.

looks like serbia burned out like croatia does in handball. destroy everyone in groups, but falters in medal stages.

It was a strange Eurobasket. Didn't expect Spain to win this time around, since they nearly got knocked out against Germany (they lost against us too, go figure), but then regained form in the decisive matches. Although truth to be told, it was mostly a one man job for the Gasol National Team xD
