Ordered from Gaming Dragons, seems to be taking a bit to get the key.

Thanks for the preview Sabin!

Have you checked your games section on their site? I know they didn't email MGSV codes (at least not to me) but the key was listed in my account. So it might be the same for Mad Max.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't have an account at the time however I did receive the key via email. All is good!

at cdkeys the game cost me $18.52, and I received a key instantly, but i did have to give my phone number to get an automated pin. it was the preorder edition, even after preorder period was over.

Btw how do you know what kind of DRM modern games are using? Before as I remember there was some kind of tool (program) that scans the "EXE" file and displayes the DRM in it: SafeDisk, SecuROM, Tages, StarForce and etcs. Now how is known that MGSV and Mad Max are with Denuvo while there aren't official announcements?

I don't think it's available yet. There's a big topic on the Steam forum with people complaining.

It was advertised as being available the 2nd of September... so my guess: it might be available when the Steam store updates.

Absolutely loving this game, perfect for those short sessions in between something or when you're not sure how long you can play, just like Just Cause. Very Happy

Really, really enjoying this Smile It's everything I hoped it would be and, so far after 6 hours, not even remotely boring or repetitive. It *is* repetitive in the strictest definition, but it doesn't feel like it, and even the Ubisoft-esque "vantage points" for unlocking map locations are really fun and cleverly done. Vehicular combat is deeply satisfying, melee combat is (for want of a better word) visceral, and the whole wasteland just feels so good.

I see this as what RAGE was trying to be, now if only id/Avalanche teamed up for RAGE 2 .... Frap Frap Guy

Doesnt the environment get repeative? Seems to have some verticallity to it though (i really like that with Just Cause, far too few games uses this).

It's a wasteland but not a desert, it's definitely not flat and dull and there's a lot of hills and ramshackle monuments/settlements with a lot of climbing.

I have no problem playing the game with the family sharing trick. Works like a charm in offline mode.
Does anyone have info about playing MGS5 the same way?

Thanks!

Be careful there Ampee (something about not requesting), and it is in the wrong thread.

I've got like 10 hours in and having fun. Dunno if I will finish it because of repetition.
But sometimes we got to try something new.

A few so far, yup, and sometimes you'll find shipping containers out in the wasteland that actually open up into sprawling caverns beneath the sand. I do like the level design and structure, it seems organic and believable.

Quite a few actually. Most of the camps that you have to take over one way or another have some sort of interior section. Also some missions have you going into sewers, tunnels and caves.

What I really love about this game is that it can't be rushed, you will get your ass kicked so hard its not even funny. Its really rewarding to spend time upgrading, and besides there are some pretty cool shipwrecks and caves to explore Smile Im only 15%, 9h44min in Surprised

Does the stearing gets better with upgrades? So far how the car handles is my only problem with the game.

Once youve logged in to steam (online mode) set steam to offline mode and then you can use it without internet connection. Maybe MGS5 cannot be played offline? Dont know. Mad max works just fine. (Played the whole day in offline mode)

I can play MGS just fine in offline mode, Mad Max is for me the issue where steam keeps saying that it's not ready to be played offline...

I think the people that didnt use the family trick bought the 18$ keys. Well worth it for this game imo. Got mine from g2play, instant delivery. Wouldnt use CC with these sites though but might be on the paranoid side
