Yet another broken quest, great. "The Soldier Statuette". Triss just stands there and there's nothing further in the quest log.

Seems it's an old bug too, there are traces of it from months ago

Yeah, I have it too. I actually completed this quest, but patch 0.8 added it back to my active quests. I guess this is what breaks Triss; there's nothing left to do Laughing

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

In New Game+ mode you either start at the level you ended the main game on or if it's lower than 30 it gets boosted to 30 with just a bit under the XP requirement for 31

No new gear but existing gear now exists in a "NGP" version such as Wolf Armor becoming Legendary Wolf Armor with four tiers ending at level 59, should be the same for the other sets too and some if not all of the normal loot though it already scaled to around the players level in the base game. (IE you would find a level 68 "Ementhaler" if you were to boost your XP to the level cap of 70 instead of a level 14 or around so version if you did the quest at it's suggested level.)

EDIT: DLC content also already had NGP variants although those have different levels from the Witcher specific items and the Wolf DLC with Temerian being the worst and being around level 29, Nilfgaard around 39 and Skellige being "best" at level 49 or somewhere around that I think. (Which is a bit unfortunate if you liked the Nilfgaard or Temerian armor or didn't want to wear heavy armor.)

Horse gear doesn't scale at all AFAIK so it's Skellige or Zerrikanian - which you probably already have when importing the save - with Skellige matching it almost exactly though the saddle part lacks a bit of stamina, five points I think to be exact though you can still win every race with it while also being able to "boost" gallop through nearly every normal race track with it from start to end.

Yeah, steam version is really good for the quest breaking patches we got. Good luck with rolling back to the previous less bugged version of the game on steam

Finished the game completely yesterday, including all the '?' in Skellige and everywhere else. Also, mastercrafted every Witcher gear and ended up at level 45. Very Happy

Now for some Phantom Pain.

Man, i love this game, im in love with the story and chars, but fuck this game (lol) it plays like crap.

Its like having sex with a finish bikini model while suffering from impotence.

And the visuals are really starting to piss me off, sometimes it looks amazing, and other times completely flat , carboard world.

Its so frustrating to play sometimes. And the camera along with geralt's movement are probably the biggest enemies in the game.

3 games in row now suffering from the same shitty animation system, someone over there at CDP should really smack some sense in the animation dude, like with a baseball bat over the face.

Now that I modded the game to my liking, had my first lengthy playthrough (3-4 hours):

- Roach spawned in a house
- when getting out of the boat I fell from the sky (got teleported there), into the water (luckily)
- after one death I could not reload a game, Geralt was just sitting there dead, trolling my ability to reload a savegame - had to end task game
- sometimes Geralt just runs instead of walking (despite walk mode being on)
- in some villages the game stutters
- in some villages the NPCs just pop in front of you
- while having the sword out, the running animation seems to skip some frames
- when descending some stairs, Geralt tumbles and rolls down like a clown
- I can't have sex with random female representatives of the Velen populace (worst one!)

All in all, perfect game.

Witcher 1 had a very nice habit of surprising you with relevant info or bonuses (like having sex or worthy books) while talking to apparently non-relevant NPCs.

I'm just addicted to Gwent Razz Some folks are pretty hard to beat. Specially the ones with the Monsters deck. Need a better deck to confront them.
Some more Nilfgaard cards -to have at least 22 cards- and my deck will be a blast. Got like 6 heroes on it so far.

Basically, my complete game yesterday -about 3 hours- consisted in playing Gwent and spending my money on hookers. Razz

Long live the modding community! Vanquishers of bugs, champions of fixes and illusionists that mimic the polished and/or final(ized) versions of the games they mod!

@dataschmuck: thanks but can't be arsed to install the anti-tumbler mod. Game is too good for me. So something must be broken, otherwise... _can't_compute_perfection_

Monster decks are fun to play against once you have a couple of spies. Just let them spawn dozens of cards, while you keep your card number high with spies. Let them them have that first round, they hardly can do anything in the next two.
Scorch can be particularly fun as well against monster decks Laughing
