Also in case anyone (like me) didn't realize this, if you bought from Gaming Dragons you can already get your code if you look in your games section on their site. It's an Nvidia code that has to be redeemed by logging into your Steam account through Nvidia's site.

I think the difficulty doesn't matter as long as you extract them.
They should be in your main base when TPP launches.

Steam's time is a placeholder, the COMMUNITY MANAGER from Konami said it's unlocking 1st of September NZ time and that hasn't changed since, multiple people asked him, not even a VPN needed.

And you have the option to disable some graphical effects. I disabled Ambient Occlusion because I didn't like it at all.

GZ to TPP data transfer is done in the main menu on the X360 and it asks for an online connection to do so. I doubt it's handled offline in any version.
If the upload/download only contains switches to turn certain bonuses on, I assume it's possible to toggle them with cheat engine or just get a save with it already unlocked (possible after the prologue since the option to import is not there during the first boot title screen).
And for all the shit Konami's getting for removing Kojima's name from the boxart and promotion, his name appears at least five times per hour I shit you not (and the KojiPro logo has the Kojima Productions text under it too). Turn your head left - HIDEO KOJIMA, turn it right - HIDEO KOJIMA, enter the next room - HIDEO KOJIMA...a bit of an exaggeration but not far from the truth.
Intros and outros for missions are done with credits like movies so you always see his name (and every other name of course)...kind of annoying and it even hints/spoils you'll encounter something more than you're briefed on.
Quite playable on the X360 but since I already got it on Steam I'll hold back from going in further....

Seriously, if they go over the mentioned time by the CM that's terrible. So many people on consoles have it, PC gets NO preload and not even a fucking day early release.
I hope this isn't the case. Especially since EVERYONE expects them to release it at NZ time now, if they don't it'll be a shitstorm for sure.

Wonder how the PC version will actually be, there's no previews of it and Konami hasn't sent out any review code to those who've requested it (PCGamer and Rock Paper Shotgun to name two.) and now the thing with no preload and possibly a change of the release date though it's just a couple of hours but still.
(Nvidia hasn't done any articles about the game either I believe.)
(Pushing the PC release date forward might make people happy with a simultaneous release but it might have harmed other things in turn, an extra week or two might not seem like much but it will help.)

Help with what JB? Optimization? This is KONAMI. The game is done no matter its state. If this wasn't Kojima's game we were in for another RDR.
If the game is unoptimized and runs poorly on pc KONAMI will not fix it.
