Haven't seen the movie, and I probably won't. Why? Because I hate 50 Cent.
I'm sort of into some rap/hiphop, but I really can't stand 50. I think 99% of his lyrics are retarded (not saying i can do any better, but i don't make a living of of it). I think he is way way way too mainstream and his lyrics are not original in any way.

His underground stuff, before his 1st "official" cd is awesome man (2 or 3 years of dubs and battles)...he's got some crazy rhymes...however, he's gone way to mainstream now...but u cant say he has shit lyrics, espeically when ur saying u dont like mainstream...cuz trust me, he brought the gangsta thing back.
But just so we're clear, most of the songs of his "official" albums suck...his underground shit, the still he produces...the dubs and battles, are wicked. He can kick a serious freestyle... |

Well of course my numbers are off a little but cause it's a week later. When I posted it was the estimates. Not that far off anyway. Did you make this account just to attack me? All three of your posts have.

nono, of course their are alot of poser's runnin around...but not everyone who appreciates rap is stupid, uneducated, low brow etc etc. Im not saying u said that either, rather thats the impression i got.
Mind you, 50's shit (mainstream stuff) is retarded. its a shame that alot of rappers nowadays lack substance. But those who started the movement, reallly did have a message to get out...however, I dont think that msg still applies in the same way it did.
Sadly, a genre of music that was about expression, personal experience and bringing attention to a subject previously kept in the closest, has been commercialized and taken over by the media moguls.
And yeah, its cool to say "Fuck them", to the posers I agree
