Windows 8.1 had the same problem. I used to have my theme as dark as possible but I'm currently using a blueish color (a bit lighter than the hump color) and it' still works with the black font.
PC: Yes. Console: No.

i would advice against using winaerotweaker
it has options CHANGED AS DEFAULT without notifying the user
while not intentionally evil, it is evil design practice and the developers should be shot for it
i toggled the updates with gpedit but it kept constantly nagging me to update so i just disabled the update service
seemed to shut her up

To each their own I guess but I've been using the util for all Win10 builds and haven't encountered any problems.

the installer uses Open Candy, so make shure u read while install it....

yeah i know..
But for people who can read stuff while installing it, it shouldnt be a problem..
the guy who made it also needs to make money i guess.. but its safe, i tested it on the virtual machine.. just READ while installing haha...
anyway, better then nothing i guess..

mh check the warnings norton gives. everything can be false detection because of what the listed programs do

Maybe, but when OpenDNS blocks your entire domain at the DNS level.. I'd say it's more than just a false positive.

ummm, ok..
nothing in my system thats bad.. i did a check, also i used it in teh virtual box, also the download.. but i didnt get a warning.. lol.
anyway, all fine here.. didnt know that. i just wanted to post teh news..
oh well, i guess i was too fast with teh posting..
but the install and everything was fine, nothing fishy or whatever, everything looks clean and i checked via processMonitor too....
also, im pretty shure nothing happened, apps, exe, bat, etc etc cant even use my keyboard, monitor, etc before i dont allow it..
(using comodo firewall with defense here, set to PARANOID + all trusted sources have been deleted out of teh trusted list. so even MS is considered as bad in my defense, every thing gets checked by me before it is allowed to do anything in teh system-yeah, call me paranoid but i feel saver with the "trust no one" attitude.) an this on an Virtual machine.. yep, im shure..
oh, and same goes for teh firewall, nothing gets out or in without my consent..i even block microsoft, its only allowed for local network,, like seeing if the router is there and communication between router and pc..like, svchost and such..but no further. it doesnt even smell the real internet...
it took me a fucking loong time to set this up the way it is.. my firewall blocks around 2000 connections each day (to microsoft) lol... and everything is working as iit should , even a bit snapier...
i guess im with janz on this what he sayd..

yeah, but i also wouldnt install windows 10.. only in the virtual machine..

WARNING: this (with an modded dnsapi.dll) will/should block all MS connections that we know of atm...
of course there wil be new adresses, so it needs updating..
but all in all, its very good so far, tested one day, and nothing got out..
Of course, UPDATE wont work haha, this is for teh truly paranoid i guess..
the DNSAPI.DLL, hmm, dunno if i should upload the edited ones, or IF i should make an tutorial so everyone can do it by himself.. its a system file non teh less.. (safety reasons)

still, the tool offers hosts blocking of ms, But it wouldnt work for all adresses since MS whitelisted some of em in teh dnsapi.dll..
