Big Hero 6 - 9/10

Fantastically entertaining. The only negative is the simplistic story and 0 depth characters.. but that's to be expected for an animated movie for young ages.

Not to mention the acting, direction and almost everything else Aww Yeah

4/10 is more like it for my taste. That's 4 points earned by Eva Green's tits.

X-Men: Days of Future Past - 6,5/10

The movie made me a disappointed panda. It started off with the right foot, everything seemed to be perfect, until it started behaving like a deflating balloon Sad (the same thing that will happen to Hugh Jackman as soon as he stops taking steroids xD).

The fairly solid acting, with an attempt to introduce some characterization, and the good share of gritty-ish sequences (for Marvel's standards, which are on par with Disney's) were not enough for me to make up for the lack of cohesion and sense of surprise.

This one didn't disappoint either and I liked it even more than Ghost Protocol.

Oh, and that swedish woman almost stole the show Fuck Yeah Me Gusta

cinderella (the 2015 one)

... i mean.. its no maleficent or anything, but i still quite enjoyed it for what it was... cinderella was sugary sweet, step mother was wonderfully vicious and cruel, step-sisters were air-headed and mean, and the prince was suitably charming... what more d'ya want? Very Happy

oh, and who doesnt love HBC in whatever the hell shes doing? she was a great FGM

6.5/10

Mad Max 4 -

10/10

One of the best movies I've ever seen in the action / western genre. I'm ashamed I didn't see it in theatres and i'm going to redownload this thing in higher quality when higher quality HD rips come out. Everything about this movie was just really good. I loved how the movie wasn't very one-sided either and did some character building with those war boyz guys and showed their insane culture.

The entire movie felt like I was watching some insane live-action video game thing.

And that's where I disagree. The movie is filled with some great fucking characters.

Be it nose cover nipple ring man, or the million other different crazy fucks; This is what makes the film interesting to watch.

He's the fucking nose cover nipple ring man.

What other movie has a nose cover nipple ring man

or bullet head dress random shooty guy

or weird swamp crow people walking on 50 feet poles

The point is that this movie does shit that other AAA big movies never take the chance in doing. The movie felt like a live action anime, and from everything I've read that is exactly what he was shooting for. This movie truly had 'characters'. People i'll remember because there was something to remember there. All of the earlier Mad Max films have something similar going on. Be it the 'Night Rider' in the first film, that goof ball who tries to catch the boomer rang in the second film, or even very minor *characters* like that dude who runs the thunderdome in the 3rd film.

Finally, they devoted a lot of time to that one warboy and I thought it was really badass that they gave that character so much screen time. It's more interesting seeing how everyone else lives in Mad Max then it is seeing Mad Max himself. Mad Max himself is just a tool to tell other people's stories.

thats great costuming, not great character creation or development.

even max was pretty ho-hum and uninspired i felt.

no one is debating (i hope) how creative the film was visually.

If there's one thing the movie excelled at, it's organic world building. Even though most of it is a "blink and you'll miss it" it's so much better than 2 bros expositioning in the middle of the action to explain how something is totes cool (Ex: Captain America and Iron Man) Laughing

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Everything made sense to me. The mutated lizard, the scarcity of resources, the green place turning into a toxic swamp, psychotic dictator with crazy rules. It fit the heightened world because it gelled with everything. Although that band thing with the jumpsuit guitarist was too ridiculous for me Laughing

Unless you want a totally grounded post apocalyptic movie which this is not. Watch The Road or The Rover for that.

There was no scarcity of resources other than water apparently (plenty of water too, actually, only its been hoarded by one guy). They had cars, trucks, guns, ammo, gas... as much as anyone wanted. The movie felt like it's been unfolding on another planet, it felt totally detached from previous Max movies and realistic Earth. The only thing missing were Alien and Predator fighting it out on the war rig.

i actually agree, he was probably the most memorable and understandable character in the film.. not even joking... he felt RIGHT... very reminiscent of armies with their drummers to both hype up the soldiers and instil fear in enemies, so to me, it was the ONE thing that actually really made sense, and was damn cool and a worthwhile addition to the film.

really enjoyed it. start was a little rocky, but overall i thought it was a very solid film - ALMOST every question i had, everything that bothered me or concerned me, i felt was suitably explained over time (the ending felt a little rushed and 'convenient'), and overall i felt the film was satisfying and interesting.

only thing i cant get my head around, is why bother with russian accents if you're going to straight up english the whole dialogue? Not only did tom hardy occasionally dip into dracula territory with his accent, but it just doesn't make sense to have the russian speech mannerisms that come from learning to speak english COMING from speaking russian when you're trying to use english as a convenient way to make the russian characters and their dialogue easily digestible..

The Thirteenth Floor blew my mind the first time I saw it. Pretty much changed my whole vision on our universe. You should watch Mr Nobody, if you haven't already Smile

nothing too crazy, worth a watch.
I wish it had been more of a thriller than drama.

The ending didn't make sense at all - which undermined the whole sense of the story.

Pretty intruiging nonetheless

the jokes were so pathetic at times... The one liners were so 2000 - random blabbering most of the times. But because of lack of any movies recently, it's stil worth a watch Wink

Ultraviolet: Unrated Extended Cut - 4? 5? 6? /10

The most ?!????!!?!?!??!? film I've ever seen.
One minute is good, the next is bad, the other is terrible, the next one is touching, ... The action ranges from terrible to good. The cinematography/visual style too ranges from VHS to Blu-ray.
I could keep going...

This is truly the most schizophrenic film I've ever seen and although at times I felt it was terrible by the end of it I found it had some oddly sweet moments... Confused

I am unable to pick a score.. It's in the 4-6/10 range for sure.. but I just can't decide if the good outweigh the bad.

Dunno, thinking about it makes my head hurt Mind Is Full Of Fuck What a bizarre movie
