hy guys,

i have a problem about device manager look http://img507.imageshack.us/my.php?image=devicemanager9sc.jpg, i deleted one file i guess when my doctor web found infected file and i deleted it and now when i run device manager i see blank screen http://img507.imageshack.us/my.php?image=devicemanager9sc.jpg

any ideas what i need to do?

You could try system repair from XP-CD or the System restore option in windows. Besides that I don't know.

any ideas how?

by the way i tryed to run win xp in a safe mode and device manager was okay, but when i run it in a normal mode i cant see device manager Crying or Very sad

all files are virus affected? - I've seen this problem on the computer before when it does'nt list items in the device manager... Check whats running in the system processes.

Anything unusual in there? post a screen shot if you're not sure...im almost certain when I fixed the computer it was a file that loaded with the computer when it started up.

Get startup control panel -> www.mlin.net and see what starts with the computer and disable anything that looks dodgey.

wouldnt delete files tho unless you know what they are etc... Very Happy

i see that miracles happens in these days..............i deleted all files in a directory temporary internet files and BINGO device manager is working Surprised
