Wow this game is really shit. Uninstalled it after 15 minutes. Completely Crappy Console Port. I have the impression this game runs on a crappy coded Playstation 1 Emulator...
Please don't download it. It's not worth the bandwith, and not worth any second of your time.
Oh i just read that there's a patch out - didn't know that playstation games can be patched until now.

Well...
Thee controls are bad. Yes.
The gameplay is bad. Yes.
The story is bad. Yes.
But... the visuals are nice. And sometimes those repetitive angles when neo executes a perfect combo come at such a nice time that your heart pounds so joyfully.
Yes. This game is shit compared to what else is on the market. But it doesn't mean it's a total waste of time. For a quick time kill this game is quite enjoyable. But for constant playing this game is like a chore to play 
Sometimes you gotta play what you’re given. And not giving this game a total chance just those 15 minutes then saying it sucks only means one thing… you’re a spoilt whore!
What I'm really saying is that you shouldn't touch games that don't have the EA logo

I'm playing the PS2 version and the game isn't bad at all. Halfway through it and still enjoying it and it's very fun. So yeah.....don't play the PC version.

i installed the patch as well and and it works with only mounting the image in deamon tools v4. weird shit is this if the game with patch doesnt run at all pc's.

I made my own clone of matrix
Game works fine with dt4 but needs to disable cds and ide from sf nightmare.Nothing else.....
But i cant change resolution at this game.Every time i try to change it restarts and shows the defaults......
Core2duo 6600 / 8800gtx / 2gb ddr2 667

actually, once you get used to it the combat is amazing.
especially the burly brawl and the chateau levels. top notch. fluid animations

I kind of liked the game, but it could have been so much better.
First of all, why wasn't all cut-scenes animated like the last ones where?
Also, what the hell was all that talk about "At the end your Neo will be different from mine"? It wasn't like there were alot to choose from, at any time and at the end, you still had everything. That disappointed me alot.
And the ending...don't even think I'll go into that!!

i disagree mate. im 1.enjoying the pc version. the gameplay isnt half bad, nice fights.
2. have just played the PS2 and the pc is just the same with better gfx(with res and detail on max).

Man, this thing plays so much better with a controller. And I don't have to reconfigure it every time I start the game. Much more enjoyable although I still hate the twisted Chateau level.

I never thought I'd say this, but this game is worse than the other Matrix game.
This game reminds me of 1997.
Every aspect of this game is outdated. I wouldn't waste the electricity playing this piece of garbage.

 Spoiler: | After you defeat Smith in the 'final' fight, you get to fight the other Smiths who were standing around and watching. Sounds exciting, right ? Yeah, I thought so too. Until they transformed into one big robot. They said it was a 15 minute long fight (if I'm correct), but there isn't any action. Just pushing the right buttons at the right time actually. After that, the game just shows an end cinematic and then the credits. Probably the suckiest ending I've ever seen in a game. |
