Coming from http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=102126&highlight=

Available for all relevant platforms: https://www.here.com/app/en/?L=9
iOS version was added again a couple of weeks ago, was the last one to come back after they took Here offline 2 years ago.

Surprised this hasn't been posted yet. It's hands down my favourite navigation app, ever. Free, fast, brilliant yet simple interface, has offline maps (important to me since I live close to the borders of Belgium + Germany, roaming sucks), lets you download partial maps too, doesn't send you into rivers (Cool Face). Can't comment much on some of its accuracy in other countries although my trips into Belgium and Germany with it so far have been equally flawless. Traffic comes through nicely too and it's very up to date (there's some major construction work going on around here and they're fully up to date).

So it's free and has offline maps? What's the catch?

But let's hope the free version stay too.

I rely on Nokia gps (Drive) myself for work. It's hands down superior to google or the travesty that is apple maps. It's more accurate and the best thing is that it keeps track of your speed too. handy for when there are speed cameras about.
