hey there,
i wanted to clean up my PC and ended up reformating it, so i can start from scratch and also use TrueCrypt 7.1a to encrypt all my HDD..
anyway, i was looking for te chipset driver since the one windows offers is , well, not soo good then the intel one and also hasnt ahci..lol.
so, do you guys now where the hell i can find them?
i tried intel, but the names for the chipset´s there i cant reconize.
do they have a diff. name sheme from what AIDA64 says?
im on an asus p5q p45 chipset.(win 7 64bit)
And no, i do not want the link to the asus support, theyr drivers for intel are out of date with that board..

thanks, but these are outdatet, i remember the last time that i had a newer one from intel..
but i cant find em anymore..
the package was from 2012 i think.
the ones you link to are form 2009.
i shouldve made a backup before hand, argh....

not shure, maybe it was 2010, haha..
but if this is the latest ahci driver then yes. i need that...

still not shure about teh chipset drivers..
strange is that for teh chipset drivers, (Intel Chipsetzdriver 10.0.27 )the info says supported products and mine is listed:

but when installing, it looks like all is good but at the end he makes a rollback and nothing is installed..

very nice read and these are the newest drivers with NON castrated ahci features for ich10r , haha.
i never ever saw them, nice find. i might even get some extra boost out of this
