MEEEH, at that off line racing in the wets without any consequences.
A.I. seems to be the same crap we've been getting since 2010...

Gaddammit Codies, put some effort into it instead of just prettyfying it...

I blame the console people who keep buying million of copies of this each year, the Codiemen are already lazy by default, but such scenario gives them literally zero incentive to improve anything. "huehue they'll buy it anyway because we're the only choice" Sad Laughing

It's such a shame that they're the owners of that F1 license. Such a waste really Razz It's like feeding pigs with haute cuisine xD

Gah again with the smooth tracks... thats probably the biggest complaint I have; the lack of bumps in the track - I miss it on the exit of the tunnel in Monaco for example.

Yeah it bugs the fuck out of me... I expect bumps or being thrown around a certain way... but nothing. Same with braking, using the load to steer better into the apex but nope that be too advanced!

4.5 hours to go...apart from the horrid lack of a career mode, I'm really looking forward to this...surely it can't be any worse than the previous games...

Cheapest I found; https://www.gamekeys4all.com/479-f1-2015-cd-key-steam.html €22.39 with free f1 stars.

Yeah I imagine it will probably be a bit tricky, though as long as it's the same protection as Dirt Rally, should be doable in buccaneerish terms. Razz (hopefully!)

Was watching this video with no assists, it doesn't look too terrible. I mean it still has very simplified physics and all kinds of unrealistic behaviors for wannabe F1 housewives, but maybe there's the chance that it will be slightly better than the previous versions. *it's something* Laughing

I need something to take the salty taste of Pcars out of my mouth, so this will probably do. Besides, I'm very much into F1, so it'll be nice to play the same game as the last 4 years but with nicer graphics and less features... wait, that doesn't sound right...

That vid ixi looked good, really good. My only gripe was the animations on arm and wheel seemed a little stiff, the model needs to show a little more flexability in the skin over the arm.

edit: wtf is that watch shit on the glove? is that supposed to be a real watch lol/model of one.

Video's usually look good with these, it's the experience however. I could only tolerate this if they improved the A.I. I really don't like to race on cheating terms. Reason why all the previous ones entertained me for only a week.

That is exactly why I stop as well. I tried many times to find a racing game where it was just competitive say with same group of peeps for some fun regular like, but it was always a pain in the ass to do or to join up somewhere etc etc fucking etc.

F1 racing sims have good potential but I want some good tools for joining and setting up race meets and full races etc.

That facking AI in the last games lol... makes you road rage Very Happy

The AI in F1 2014 was of Einstein levels when compared to Project Crash - I mean Cars.

Just for the record, I really couldn't give a crap about my 'post count' - I was simply too lazy to edit the post on this occasion - note I have done so on many occasions previously.

Fuck me some people just have nothing better to do with their lives than be a pseudo-mod - never understood that.

So anyway, I don't suppose anyone actually bought it?

edit: I suppose I could have added that to my last post... oh well.

edit2: I just noticed, you get the 'Full' 2014 season as well.

Exactly what does that mean? Do you only get part of the 2015 season?

Edit 3: Oh dear, it looks like there are no default controller mappings in the game - people are reporting that wheels and pads have to be manually added - and that FFB is very light and fluffy...

edit 4: Oh dear god.. No Safety Car, qualification set to short unless at 100% race length, graphical filter (they love the filters don't they) that adds artificial blur, crashing on game exit... I'm almost glad I didn't preorder this now Sad

Haha, I can only imagine...a nightmare at launch just like the others (although those were always nightmares) only with the worst possible vaseline filters from the next gen world and whatnot. Razz
My only concern is the driving model (or lack thereof), since as for the traditionally horrible AI there are the busy modders at Racedepartment that will come to the rescue. Unless the Codies have created a monster, in that case we're all fucking then.

The game has a breaking performance bug, that drops the game to 7fps mid game for no apparent reason.

Go, preorder, go!
