Today we are posting a new patch for the early access release of Predator and the Predator/Prey Skin Pack to Kombat Pack owners. The patch will also address the following for all users:
Frame Skipping has been removed
Liu Kang’s “Hot Head” brutality no longer triggers when no stage interaction is used
When installing the Title from a complete backup the entire package will now be installed
Saving a controller preset for the keyboard will now make it the active preset
Characters will no longer be doubled on the character select screen
The pings of other players in a room will now display correctly
After completing an Invasion Boss, the Invasion Bosses defeat will now trigger correctly
Fixed a crash where sometimes the game will minimize, becoming unplayable
Pausing and unpausing quickly while Frame Smoothing is set to “on” will no longer cause a display driver crash in arenas
Users can now leave a KOTH session as king without taking a loss
There are new secret brutalities to discover

still disappointed that the free scorpion classic skin isnt as classic is it sounds, its from mk3. not from 1 disliked the design of subzero and scorpion in 3
Wow, finally tried new patch - pretty impressed what QLOC mnaged to do , run pretty great now and I can finally enjoy the game, even that offputing feeling is now almost gone for me
yep, last two patches made huge jumps towards saving this game. although the last one reset my gfx options (was kinda raging cause the game had massive slow dowsn again cause it just doesnt work with vsync as variable or whatever the standard is). even online works almost lagfree for me now

No, the game freezes consitently in training mode for everyone after 10 mins to 30 mins of gameplay. It even has a sticky on the Steam MKX forums, "Known Bugs", bug nr. 3
I have zero performance problems. Only thing that still has problems is MP, which became a lot better with the last patch, but still... it needs further fixing.
Guess i'm one of the lucky ones. And Predator is awesome

Today we are posting a new patch that will grant the Klassic Ermac skin as well as address the following for all users:
-Fixed a bug where game will freeze in training mode when users have been playing ~20 minutes.
-Game will no longer crash when launched on an Ultra HD monitor.
-Character walk away animations will now display correctly.
-Reverted font change that caused “Exit” text in online rooms to be cut off.
btw for everyone who is interested: the game officially received a 18 rating in germany right now. that means it will be back on the steam store asap and maybe even published as retail version (hasnt been published in germany at all yet). first mk ever that does get a 18 rating in germoney and is allowed to be sold in public. i think now ive seen everything in life

-Fixed an issue where switching to 1440x480 resolution and then switching to another would cause the side of the screen to cut off for several resolutions.
-Kitana’s Assassin Strike will now deal the appropriate amount of damage.
-Predator [Hish Qu Ten Variation] Predator’s gun will now display the cross-hairs during his Fatality 2 correctly.
-Fatality and Brutality bonuses will now be granted to the correct player.

-There is now an option to change the games language without changing the language in Steam.
-Fatality animations will now trigger correctly
-Game will no longer display graphical artifacts when playing Match Replays from Online modes
-The Game will now properly pause when it is minimized while in the main menu, reducing CPU and disk usage
-When installing the Game from a complete back up, all packages will now be installed
-Fixed an issue where nVidia card users would sometimes encounter a display driver crash in different game modes
-“Reconnect the controller” error message will no longer appear when switching controllers in the character selection menu
-The button log will now display the proper icon dependent on the input method (keyboard or controller)
-Button prompts will now properly display during Test Your Might when using a controller with custom button assignments
