Deluge is pretty good, simple but good.

Using qbittorent also. Few annoyances i've had with it though. Don't like the drop down list when you add a new torrent, also had torrents "stalled" for no reason and just simply refused to start downloading. Also when i need to add some new torrents its fucking annoying that for each torrent i add qbittorent goes fullscreen so i need to minimize it.

Reinstall and don't click "accept" for everything automatically? Rolling Eyes

The big case about this was that it got silently installed even if you didn't click accept.

I'll stick with the version of uTorrent I have for a long time it seems.

On my laptop I installed Deluge, it works fine I guess but it's using GTK+ so it looks like bullshit.

http://www.oldapps.com/utorrent.php?old_utorrent=39

The best version (uTorrent 2.2.1 Build 25203) and the one that many people and private trackers recommend you install. Turn off auto-updates.

another reason not to use this piece of shit crapware... and the ones with the meaningless "I do NOT upgrade utorrent, I am fine" explanation to justify their irrational behaviour... yes you are also impacted by this bug Laughing

I installed qBittorrent on my laptop and holy shit it's soo good, it may actually be better than the old 3.3 uTorrent I use on my main PC, holy crap it's good. Huge improvement from that Deluge and all its annoyances (on windows at least)

I went back to utorrent 2.2.1. Much more comfortable to use. The RSS downloader on Qbittorrent is the only thing i miss.

Anyone knows how to stop qbittorrent from asking me all the time if I want to dl the update from sourceforge? Everytime I start it it pops up. Annoying really...

There has to be a "check for updates" toggle, duuude. In the options.

qBittorrent > Tools > Options (or ALT-O or click the crossed screwdriver icon) > Advanced. Scroll down to near the bottom and untick "Check for Software Updates"

Why not just update it? 3.2.0 has numerous changes and improvements. Smile
(Unless of course you are on one of those strict BT sites only allowing this or that explicit version of certain clients.)

EDIT: And then disable the update notification, those are just annoying.

Some trackers might have not white listed it yet... tho the ones I used did after a week of that release. So I'd be surprised if most haven't yet. Some of mine are one of those stricter ones

qBittorrent, just like any client, often breaks more than it fixes with later versions. I used to have an issue where magnet links stopped working and the only fix was to roll back to a previous version. I'm on 3.1.1.0 right now and have no need to update Very Happy
