I want a fucking refund and I haven't even yarred it. Fuck this 30fps cap bullshit.
~edit~
And yes, the Steam forums are already overrun with dickless fangirls berating anybody for raising issue with yet another Japanese piece of crap port. YAY.
I guess just hunger for MH type of games. And some people can stomach 30fps,
As for what i read there is a way to unlock the frame-rate but it fucks up game mechanics
dont wanna pull a KC here but some people have a weak rig or mainly play on some last gen console and are used to 30fps besides dark souls 1on pc was 30fps for a very long time but people including me still played it. Sometimes the fun factor of a gsme just makes you forget about such a cap. Besides this game doesnt seem to be that good looking anyhow so the graphical side isnt its strong suit
but fps unlock came couple months after first version of DSfix
as for Toukiden, framerate can be unlocked by messing with vsync in gpu control panel , but game run twice as fast if you do it

Dark Souls released for PC on August 23, the 60fps unlocker (the real one that didn't cause the game to run at 2x speed) was released on September 16th.

Uhm, 1 month... not "several"... point is,people were certainly not okay with playing it at 30fps... they had no other choice for that 1 month
*EDIT* Thx Sabin. So it was actually less than a month.
Sadly the "unlocker" for Akiba's Trip is also broken It works, and it looks absolutely GORGEOUS in 60fps too, but it breaks the combat controls since they rely on timing. Normally you have to HOLD an attack button to strip an enemy, but with the 60fps mod you only have to GLANCE at the button to attempt a strip.. and that breaks combat This is why I have nothing but seething annoyance at developers that code with such ridiculous and restrictive limits, like hardcoding 30fps animation ticks. Once they design their game around that, for all intents and purposes it can never really be fixed, not without a great deal of work.
"The PS4 version is only going to run at 30fps, so rather than simply capping at that.. let's design all the game mechanics and combat timings to only function correctly AT 30fps! Because this will never ever come back to bite us in the arse, honest!"
~edit~
Same thing with the PC (and only the PC) version of Final Fantasy VII. That uses staged framerate timings; 15fps for combat, 30fps for world, 60fps for menus ... the PS1 version ran at 30fps across all instances. Combat in the PC version is slower and less fluid but they physically MADE it run at 15fps, with only 15fps worth of animations, so if you use a mod/unlocker to run at 30, or 60, the game runs at double and quadruple speed.

thx for dates sabin Still it took some time for unlocker to be implemented in DSfix
I guess we need TKfix here
People shrugged it down and still played it
Anyhow i would still play it despite the 30fps but the high price breaks the deal for me.
I can buy witcher 3 for the same price....
yeah price is insane ... as for the fps thing I absolutely prefer 60, but I dont have such a beast PC now (lately i rely only on my mid-range laptop) so i guess I got used to lower frames because i dont have nasuea on 30fps games anymore. And with less and less playtime lately I just dont care that much about technical stuff unless its utterly horrible like below 20fps framerate like BAK. I guess I am part of the problem now

That alone proves you're not part of the problem, you're just making the best of your current situation that is entirely in YOUR hands and not the hands of others. I have respect for people that have "slightly weaker" rigs and make the best of the situation, but I have little to no respect for people who do have great systems and yet constantly make excuses for lazy developers that have no intention of pushing boundaries and instead prefer to cater to the lowest denominator rather than expanding scope to include all systems.
So is the actual game any good? My low-end PC can barely handle more than 30-40FPS in newer games, anyway, so a 30FPS lock for such games doesn't bother me all that much right now.
