					| From movies and series cuban cigars are forbidden in us. Are they? And if so why are they forbidden?
Always wondered this when they smuggle them in movies.

					| They are forbidden in most countries. I think it has something to do with the way they are made, child-labour or something similar. That's just my guess though, so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
 edit: found this http://www.ehow.com/how_110840_purchase-cuban-cigars.html
seems it's perfectly legal to smoke the cigars, it's the trading of them that is illegal.

					| cuban cigars are a good smoke, I can tell you that.
Much better than other cigars, the taste is not so sharp.

					| lol ...
The easiest and surest way to get Cuban cigars safely past customs is to buy them in Canada and repackage them. Remove the rings and place the cigars in a different (not Cuban) box. Clerks in many Canadian cigar stores will do this for you, but watch for the bait-and-switch. Most customs agents won't bother to detain you over unidentifiable cigars (it's not like you're smuggling heroin). Replace the rings after you return home.

... but yeah, only illegal in the USA.

It's not like we just ban their cigars. We have a trade embargo with them.
