Brazilian Gifts aren't locked in any way. Currently 8 keys or thereabouts (just under £12).

Yeah, but can't have everything... 50% off the UK price is good enough for me. Smile

Yea the price is too steep for me. No way this is worth that much, you are paying $25 for online multiplayer with people that are not your friends. The rest of the features are easily negligible or already exist in the original game at a functional level.

I need to stop criticizing this...I'm just so disappointed Sad

GMG maybe? £15 after 20% off voucher. Or Steamtrades - 7 keys, which is about £10 (not sure if they're region-locked now? I don't think they are, but...)

If it has proper lan support then I'll buy..
The removed lan functionality replaced with steam matchmaking that happened in aoe2 EE was total bs.

There is a seperate LAN tab, so if you but it should be all good.

got me the isodemo to have a few lan games with mates, but have an issue where the server is getting very jittery movement animations when using tunggle =(

New expansion coming

closeup from original video
 Spoiler:

Looks like it gonna be Chinese, Celtic and Mezopotamian civs because
1. Guy on the left appears to be Dagda from Celtic mythology.
2. Woman on the right appears to be Nüwa (aka Nugua) from Chinese mythology.
3. Guy in the center appears to be one of the supreme creator gods of any of the Middle-Eastern mythologies.

No complaints here. I'll take an expanion for AOE2 and AOM over any modern RTS.

While i really liked both of the games, releasing addons for these old games is indeed just @ Microshit
I bet both expansions consist mostly of user created content, and the creators just got paid for it.

Wasn't that Forgotten addon previously a free campaign by some user?

Meh, i wish they would instead work on AoE 4 or AoM 2. But both probably won't happen in the near future

There were some articles this january about Microturd hiring for a new entry in a beloved strategy franchise. God, i hope it wasn't this. The good days of strategy games are forever behind us, i fear. How many of them there were, you couldn't breathe. How dramatically it changed in just a couple of years after 360 and peasant station 3 came out and took the stage.

Unfortunately even the recent RTS were pretty meh. PA was pretty bad, Grey Goo isn't quite there yet. To me the only base building RTS released in recently years that is good was Sins, and that was 2008.

It is going to take a lot to bring back the good ol' RTS rush. So for the time being, I don't mind new content released for old but proven games.

Also seeing how big publishers are handling old IP being revived recently, I have no faith in a new AOE game being done right.

3 years. It’s been 13 years since the release of Age of Mythology on PC. And 12 years since the release of its expansion pack: The Titans. But for great games like Age of Mythology, these years are merely a number. It’s time for a new expansion pack! With the collective experience and with expansions for the Age of Empires II series, Age of Mythology almost feels like the next logical step, although next time we probably shouldn’t wait over a decade before taking on the challenge

We’re not diving into a lot of detail here, but we’ll quench your thirst for more next week on a livestream. So make sure to tune in on www.twitch.tv/ageofempires on October 2nd (exact time will be posted later). See you there!
