|
 |
Hi men,
long story short - i totally have no time, new job, 2-3 new girls (currently choosing on which I should focus more lol), new home, gym and so on - yet still Im a nerd at heart and I need to play something from time to time.
I have no time for big AAA games, i love rpgs but its annoying to play them when you dont have time for long sessions, im looking for some smaller games that you can play in short amounts and still enjoy them.
Recently finished hotline miami 2, enjoyed it a lot. Anything simillar which can be played in sessions like 30-1h, 2-3 times in a week + little bit more during the weekend? Its annonying coming back to some bigger games and finding out that you dont remember what it was all about

Jokes aside, you should try going back to the adventure genre. Games like Technobabylon, Ethan Carter, Dreamfall Chapters, Broken Age, the TellTale games etc are all good to play in short bursts.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Problem with those games is the fact that sometimes I wont even start them for a few days - enough to forget what the current plot/puzzle was about, also I dont really like episodic stuff. Hotline miami formula was great, start it, play for few minutes, few missions - quit.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Hehe don't take it serious. Twas just joking.
I do think that it's not that bad to stop gaming for a while, I had periods in my life where I stopped gaming for a year here and there.
It was always dictated by how busy life was, priorities shift... schedules change so when you have too little time now, maybe in a few months or a year you'll have the time to spend on the games you'd like.
You could play sport/racing games or even casual or indie games... but most importantly is: do you enjoy them and do they satisfy your gaming needs? If not or partially: take a break, it's not like settling into a new job and picking a GF will take years.

Hearthstone is a fun game that you can also play on your phone or tablet.

Yea, hearthstone is definitely a time sink. But most games can be done in 10 to 15 minutes or so. It is a good game to play in spurts at work when I'm waiting in clients.
