Hmmmmm
Dunno if you have any PC modding stores nearby, or even if they would have such a thing as an l-shaped pcie power connector extension, or if you have the patience (or skill) to jury-rig one, but that would solve that problem, right?

why not doing this? http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f81/how-thread-fuer-einen-abgewinkelten-pcie-stecker-683614.html

its in german but you should understand by watching the pictures and maybe find some english tut too. sad there are still no adapters to achieve such a cable placement

Pretty much what I had in mind, using a regular PCI-E extension since there's always the risk that you can fuck it up. Ordering what sabon posted works too.

most of the extension cables arent that hard too (the sleeves), could buy a cheaper one and try and if not just mod it. if you dont shortcircuit the cables theres no problem i think. if you dont trust your skill: everybody knows somebody whos working electricity stuff -> bug him to do it Razz

in that case you need a new case, even though its stupid, you know that Razz

maybe u can get a fractical design node 804 or a cooltek u3 or maxi (last one cant suit a tower cooler). cheap and nice looking and should have enough space if im not wrong, but better recheck that Wink

think its just a matter of taste, but as i said: better google if gfx card has enough space, but should be no problem cause the board is mounted vertical. the horizontal layout was the problem with the other one

Man that sucks, sorry to hear Phillomina... and yup it's usually at the end when you notice crap like that Sad
The fractal is a beauty and their cases are quite qualitative... tho I still prefer the size of the other one for a TV setup. Smile

Maybe if we keep this thread a few months going we'll end up with a server farm Razz
