I doubt there will be any sprawling cities, if DA Inquisition is anything to go by. Probably a couple of smallish hubs with shops and such, like in ME2. I assume there will probably be something analogous to the Citadel, a central seat of government.
Perhaps ... perhaps the Mass Effect universe would be better off with ... you know. No sequels.
Nothing more to tell in that universe, no threat can be as great as the Reapers - or as exciting. Unless you put this game way, way past the timeline of the ME trilogy - but then why not build another universe for that instead?
At any rate, it probably won't outdo DAI, in how boring it is.

Where did you read that? So far all Bioware have said is that it's a new story and not involving Shepard, I don't think they've given any specifics yet.
They can't continue on from Shep because BioFuck completely fucked the whole fucking ending like they gave no fucking shit. Why even call it Mass Effect 4? It's a different fucking story.

They have said before that they want exploration to be a big thing in the game, and that the Mako is going to be back. They actually showed the Mako in the trailer.
