Magna carta sucks ass, I just played it. I'm so dissapointed in this game, it could have been great but the damn shitty battle system destroys it all.
It's so slooooow and you only controll one dude during the battles unless you switch and then you controll only that character. And it's like shadow hearts, you have to time buttons to do some damage to the enemies, I hate that shit, it's the worst shit to ever appear in rpg games. :/
The rest of the game is fricking great with great characters, graphics and enviroments, GAH if it weren't for that stupid battle system.  ((

I actually liked it and i´m not the only one. Interesting characters and a really deep battle system once you get into it.

wait so its out? I didnt see it anywhere...I saw the intro trailer of this game and it looked awesome but the song was beyond ridiculously shitty. Please tell me that gay ass song is not in the beginning of the game!!!

I haven't managed to snag the ps2 version, but I played the Korean PC version for about 20 minutes to see what it was like. 20 minutes in, the combat hadn't been exciting, the character level-up was iffy, but the graphics were amazing and it seemed to have plot.
I've been hoping they'd translate this to english on the pc for years... I really can't wait to try the ps2 version. I'm seriously hoping my first impression was wrong on the combat.

Tried to burn it twice now, but neither works.. It just spins in the drive making some horrible sounds and refuse to accnowledge the disc.. Not even giving the "Not a valid ps2 disc" error thingie.. So annoying

Its just the style. If you dont want anime-style characters in your RPGs then play American/European RPGs.

I want SO badly to like this game, but I just don't so far. -sigh-
For instance, I've run out of patience already... I'm at the first real fight, and getting my butt stomped. Any hints on what I'm supposed to do there? He's killing my party in 1 hit.

yeah this game seems interesting to me as well, im trying to get into it but shit, the combat system is confusing as hell at first, I still dont understand it. I think this is also another game that could have been great but instead is damn near ruined by the horrible english voice acting. Why dont they just keep it in Korean and have fucking subtitles, it would be so much easier for them to do, and so so much better. Just like in StarOcean3. I loved that game but the acting was beyond shit.

I definitely agree about the subtitles, but then, I far prefer subtitles in almost every situation.
As for the combat, I keep hearing that it's only crazy hard for the first few hours, then you'll get used to it and it's great. If I could get past this battle, maybe I'd know that. There should have been a difficulty setting, in my opinion.

I'm newbie (new) here.... a friend of mine passed this site on my e-mail, and said that was a torrent site, to download games, too.... but i haven't seen a torrent download here, just a mount of nfos of games and covers....
Is it possible to download torrent files here?How can I do it?

Ah, but see, you're only focusing on consoles! Just look at the PC - Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, The Elder Scrolls, Ultima, Wizardry, Arx Fatalis, System Shock, and any number of oldschool RPGs and dungeon crawls that are US/EU.

Yes i know.. but this is about a console games..
Still DQVIII is so much fun i can overlook the daft looking chars..
Its just not fair  .. no decent RPG's on the box/ps2 for ages then we get Magna carta,DQVIII and the new wild arms all within a week or so of each other..
Something to play till Oblivion surfaces (when ever that may be  )

the battle system maybe looks difficult at first but when you get familiar you gonna see how facinating it is
