To me ME2 was much better than ME3, soundtrack aswell, ME2 also had 2 amazing dlcs, Overlord and the Shadow Broker, and both came with more amazing soundtracks.

ME3 was just a shooter. corridor after corridor. That plus Oloreal characterization taken to some characters

i loved me2. to me it lost some of what made me1 great, but it also improved on some things as well.. i think between 1 and 2 you have the essence of a perfect game.. not that it matters, the first 2 games together provide unique experiences that are both a hell of a lot of fun in their own ways..
me3 was... rather forgettable unfortunately.. what should have been the greatest of the trilogy just fell flat for me for the most part, and im not even talking about the ending.

ME1 is a kotor remake for me
ME2 utter shit ? It is one of best paced rpg ever. played it many times and it was different each time.
ME3 better ? By this time, it was a shitty shooter where You could not even holster a gun Yourself... and everyone went Loreal way... and story got fucked

ME1 was the most "RPG" of the lot, but it was really poorly paced and a bit boring, not to mention the stupid fucking lander thing...
ME2 had a gripping story (at least for me), was paced much better but already had the derpified RPG elements.
ME3 had a horrendous ending....
Also i've always hated the whole "goody twoshoes or total asshole aspect" of it. Probably because my view was warped by the witcher games.

Dialogs in ME3 were abysmal. It's like they brought the writers od "Vampire Diaries" to write the lines.

I always find it curious the amount of praise ME2 gets. While I think it is probably more fun to play mechanically than ME1, the plot is stupid, the majority of the game is focused on dealing with companion daddy issues, and the ending with the giant terminator is just plain fucking retarded. The fact that ME3 makes ME2 look stellar by comparison tells you how terrible the former actually is.
