Image quality seems to be equal on both though, and the end user won't even notice the difference when they plaster their shitty food on instagram of facebook.
Fuck, people are still happy with the shitty front cameras while taking selfies and posting them.
Well 5MP for front isn't too bad, though most are on 8MP already for that.
The ultrapixel cam in my M9 is actually really good for these kind of pictures

It's about that some have that and some have the other, no consistency nor clues to what models have it or not, seems to be totally random..
Ah oke, thought a model from a factory. From what i know samsung has 2-3 factories creating their phones.
Nah so far nothing been confirmed yet that it's from a certain batch or certain factory, completely random for now :\

I'm talking about the 1.2MP front cameras on iPhone and other older android phones. And people are still really happy they can take a picture of themselves while taking a shit.
For me, anything above 8MP on a smartphone is good enough. But that's just me and I rarely actually even use the camera yet still I have filled picasa with 16GB of random crap pictures mixed in with vacation pictures.
Oh haha, well the 20.7 one here is kinda disappointing, but lucky i don't buy my phone to take pictures with it.
If i want good pictures, i'll buy a camera, this device is multi-functional, so shouldn't except to be on par with their dedicated counterparts

Great phone otherwise. Your wife will be happy as long as she's ok with its size.
She thinks she's getting a Z3 compact, but a S6 would be a nice surprise. She never had a top of the line smartphone. The S6 is called "the best smartphone you can buy" in reviews, but I don't know which sites to trust.

Z3 compact or not can't be compared to S6, the latter is way above. Best processor, best camera and best screen on the market - it really is true. The only con is the absence of memory card slot but come on, who needs more than 32gb.
Get her the S6 nao and report on those deep throat blowjobs asap
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
If price isn't taken into account (they're all at the same range anyway), would there be any benefit in choosing LG G4 or HTC M9 over the Samsung S6? Lack of microSD and "good enounh" power consumption isn't important.
My problem is that there are different sites listing these three as "best Android phones". So, they're all three the best Since she'll be using this phone 4-5 years, I want to buy the best we can get. Cam and speed are the most important aspects.
The M9 has little going for it unfortunately; I personally still think it's the best looking one and it has the best speakers.
The S6 has the best display (well done Samsung, only took you what, 5 years to figure out how to calibrate a display ), decent camera, best hardware inside.

I will have to decided for a new contract in the next 30 days.
After the S4 (and it's bad quality), I never wanted to go with a Samsung device again! Also shitty software on Android 4, which is now better but unstable on Android 5 (I have to restart the phone every day) and a ton of sponsored bloatware that re-installed itself after every miniscule update (which come also very late!).
So I took a look at the LG G4. I think that the G2 that my wife has was just great. Then my sis-in-law got the G3, which was even bigger and mostly nicer (except for the super crappy and ABSOLUTELY unnecessary over sharpening of a 1440p display!). The G4 seems to be better in every aspect.
But apparently the LG's are getting hot again, doing some thermal throttling and don't have a very long battery life.
And the new SAmoled on the S6 looks just fantastic. Also if I get the S6 until 30.06, they'll throw in a galaxy tab 4 7.0 for free.
Both cost around ~50€ once (S6 even has 64GB) and then 29.99€ monthly, with unlimited data (500mb highspeed), unlimited calls to mobile and landline & unlimited sms.
Or should I rather go for some chinese brand and get a separate contract? I can get those for ~10€/month but then I won't be able to split up the phone cost over the 2 year contract.
Never go Chinese if you can easily afford S6/G4. They have power, but never the screens and cameras.
I'd say go G4 only if you're crazy about mobilography and you're ready to take super shots with manual settings etc etc. If not - get the S6 nao and be happy. And sell that tablet on ebay

I thought the S6 had the best camera :/ Fucking reviews man
The G4 has the better camera, the S6 has the better post processing.
If you just want to shoot and share the pic, take the S6. If you want to shoot the pic and then play around in photoshop, lightroom or if you are going to print it, take the G4. It has a very fast focus and captures more details, especially in low light situations.
The S6 applies post processing to make the image look better than it actually is. There isn't a big difference but the G4 also comes with a very nice manual mode. But video recordings had a minor but noticable loss of focus every 2 seconds or so :/

It does overall. It's just that G4 has a tinsy bit more manual settings for the crazy people. Normal people use S6
