Maybe just bad luck on the server you joined. I've got over 300 hours in MP and I've seen a handful of blatant cheaters. Only seen the firing money bags done twice, and a guy using a Ferris wheel as a platform for his car on the water. And maybe 5-10 people using teleport hacks.
Im sure more are hacking/modded on the servers ive been on in that time than I've seen. But they are eithe doing it out not near anyone, or not doing anything that interferes with anyone else.
For the bombs on your head, sure it wasnt someone way up in the helicopter with the exploding rounds shooting at you? I get that from time to time..just "boom, boom, boom, boom" like grenades going off around me every second, but its someone in the big attack helicopter trying to blow up my karuma

The bombs could be a helicopter, yes, it just felt a bit retarded to die in the first minute of gameplay without even seeing anyone
But the cash just showed up, there was nobody else in the area... either way, I got free money
Same with the ferris wheel, it was just there, in the middle of the street...
Then again maybe ive been lucky on the severs Ive joined and not got into any of the modded peoples games a lot.
Im usually pretty tolerant of it. Like the guy I saw using the ferris wheel as a ferry to float around in the ocean, if they aren't bothering anyone and just screwing off I dont report them.
Of the dozen or so hackers I've seen I only reported 3..One was teleporting to people to kill them, the other was 2 guys spawning cars to block the roads of people running from the cops and crush afk players.
And we need more nfohump crew members online of the 100's of hours I've played I've seen maybe like 12 online total. . Ive only actually been able to play with 2..StrEagle and BlackAesop.
If Ixi ever gets his internet fixed, been waiting to run him through the heist if he wants to. (or anyone else that wants to do them, Im always up for it...most my time ingame is spent fucking off in freemode with a few friends)

Last week a modder, who was running around as an (invincible) topless stripper mind you, spawned Monster trucks, strippers, money, invincible cars/jets/tanks, dropped random things into people's garages, and other random silliness. It does get old, especially when the lobby you're in is full of decent people, that is one not full of people that will snipe you on sight for no reason other than you are there, turns into a clusterfuck of madness once the random stuff starts spawning in. Fortunately, I have a small group of lads and a lady that I often end up just messing around with in freemode, when not doing the occasional heists or missions, and we just jump into some missions when it gets too silly in the lobbys.
Also, and I am not sure if this was a modders doing or not, the other day, the fog was so thick you couldn't see 20 feet in front of yourself. I have yet to ever see it get THAT foggy in the game, so me and a buddy assumed it had to be a modder messing with the weather, but I could be wrong. it was THICK.
And no, I rarely see anyone from NFO on when I am.
