There's not much to say, the better team won. After that initial goal, I feared for another massacre in the style of Brazil xD, but I'm happy that we put out a good fight against those martians. The honor was saved at least. *it's something*

Shame that some key players underperformed (Vidal was pretty embarrassing, Pirlo and Tevez also weren't exactly brilliant), but oh well, no regrets.

I sincerely rooted for 'em and felt a bit sad :'(

All the situations paddled in Juve's direction:

- after a starting goal Barca seemed in part satisfied and did not rush like stampede for a second
- Barca did not show as the usual fury, especially phisically
- Messi in all the match basically did only 2 rushes, but both useless
- Juve scored at first/second serious attack
- After Juve scoring, Barca did need some time to recalibrate (a.k.a. "il braccino")

but it wasn't enough anyway.
After all if you don't harvest with all these favors maybe you don't deserve to win.

Indeed, perfect analysis..I wholeheartedly agree. Against all odds there were some concrete chances to pull off the seemingly impossible task, but even an opaque Barca was enough to shut down the dreams.
It was hard to do a better job defensively speaking, I think the main problem was that the most technically gifted players did not express their full potential despite Barca's approximative marking, especially Tevez who probably played his worst match since he arrived at Juve (but Pogba also could have done much more despite not being in shape, since he had an awful lot of space).

That's the depressing thing, if we haven't won this year with all the favorable conjunctions, then we may as well stop trying Sad Laughing
One can only hope that players can still have the motivation to play a decent CL next year too, going back to living the Contiani Nordsjælland days again would be tragic at this point xD

Laughing If only!
But in all seriousness, I think the bearded god will likely leave (New York) which is understandable since he wouldn't be part of the starting 11 anymore. Marchisio can easily play in that position, he's already done it so many times this year.
As for Pogba and Vidal, I don't know what to expect really.. their crazy agents are capable of creating drama out of nothing. Razz

With all the money received from the CL+partners/marketing realistically Juve doesn't need to sell anyone, so if people will decide to leave it's because they demand to play somewhere else. Out of the two though, Vidal is the most expendable/replaceable ;(
A similar scenario when it comes to the forwards, anything can happen. I was reading that Benitez already wants Morata back, don't you dare Mad Laughing

Man Italy got robbed in the first half. a regular goal gets called offside, and then we score from the offside Laughing

but soon after italy established dominance and IMO, they should win if we keep playing like that.

Haha yeah I've just seen the highlights, the commentators were so mad. It happens Very Happy Laughing
There was some terrible defending as usual, but at least it seems that the team didn't suck so that's something positive. Not that there any any hopes for the Euros anyway xD

hooligans even among the stadium gardening force I Am Disappoint

Overall, both teams missed some 100% chances so I do think the tie was fair in the end, despite the fail reffing.

germany played a very bad first half but in the end they destroyed gibraltar with 7:0.

thats the punishment cause one of the gibraltar players said before the game they were better than brazil cause they lost the first game only 0:4 ^^

Kidding aside, they're obviously not a team, just a bunch of players.

Gonna need some major changes to bring back team chemistry.

Also, that lord bendtner assist for the first goal was very lordlike Very Happy

It seems that out of the blue sneaky Marotta has bought Mandzukic Very Happy

I like him, but honestly I don't think he's the good choice to replace Tevez (who will 99% leave to Boca). Llorente will likely leave as well though, so there's that free spot to fill.
The team is facing some strange stuff with Vidal losing his mind (which pissed off everyone here as well), the foreverincognita Pogba and Pirlo who is still deciding what to do. Next year is going to be tougher for sure men, let's hope for the best Razz Laughing

Haha true, he's a hard working badass and that's always very useful xD
He said yes, Atletico accepted €18mil, and the medical tests have already been programmed so the deal is definitely ready to become official.

Atletico sold Miranda too to Internazionale, I guess they really need money. Razz
