My Gwent card collection (and the configuration of my decks) has become a beauty Right now I should be only missing a couple of standard unit cards and tier 4 of faction leaders. Given the vast experience playing the game now I'd say the 2 decks that are a bit above the others are Northern Realms and Monsters, but with good skills and unless very shitty luck one should be able to beat those 2 with Nilfgaard and Scoia'tael
And about the sex talk I must say I've been underwhelmed by that aspect in this game compared to both previous titles in the series. There's like 2 or 3 scenes that are then recycled for new encounters with different partners, very anticlimactic. I already know (haven't read spoilers) that I won't get to shag Yennefer and I don't even care
After you have lots of cards, i'll say Nilfgaard is op as fk. A dozen spies ftw
They only have 1 more spy compared to Northern Realms, but NR gets a new card everytime they win a round which almost compensates for that, also it is a more balanced deck when it comes to mixing it up between close range, long range and siege. The monster deck has the muster aibility which is the OP feature of the faction, just like spies are the OP feature of both human factions
Changing subjects, a warning for those who drop stuff in random places to avoid being burdened by weight, I had left my starter armor by the Kaer Trolde Inn and it disappeared when I came back for it. Hadn't happened before for other stuff I left there several times, and I dropped this armor there after the 1.05 patch arrived. I don't care much in this case cause I can retrieve the armor by console commands
^ Awesome, I was starting to think nobody cared enough to try modding it in. The video description is true though, a lot of the scenes look better unmodded.

I'd say 90% of the scenes looked better modded.. i was confused at first but it's the first comparison that is the modded one.
Edit: did anyone measure FPS with ReShade on / off? (cant get the nvidia fps counter to work).
I saw on Nexus for one of the popular presets that the FPS loss is described as around 8-9. That seems a bit much if true, not really worth using it then imo, it looks better but not 9 FPS better.

What he said. The modded ones look clearly better.

Based on my experience in Gwent
1. Northern Relms
2. Nilfgaard
a small gap
3. Monsters
a fucking large gap
4. Scoiatel
Both 1/2 have spies which give you such a card advantage its usually over quite quickly. Also Monsters are melee heavy so they are in a world of pain against the dragon thingy and against biting frost. NR with Dragon Hunters, Commandos and arty (with the foltest ability) are the best.

Depends on the scene. For example at 14 seconds the modded version looks too dark for being outside during the day. Then after that the White Orchard village has better lighting unmodded.
-edit I'm starting to wonder if the uploader mixed up some of his comparisons. The supposedly unmodded pics look to have much more bloom which has a side effect of brightening the sky and making clouds less visible.

Hard to say, depends on the position of the sun. Unless the sun is at the top of the sky the grass has to create shadow and in the unmodded version it doesn't.
The white orchard shot is probably the only one that looks better in vanilla.
And on a separate note. I've never had inventory crash prior to 1.05 patch. Now I got 2 crashes within 4 hours of playing. WTF CDPR!

Eh what? He says modded first and unmodded second. And it's pretty obvious by the grass having shadows and the light sources generally being significantly softer and the textures themselves don't look like they emanate light from within themselves. Instead it feels like light hits the textures.
63 hours in, level 20 now and "nearly" done with Norvigrad / Velen
But before i leave for Skellige, i want to get more cards for my Gwent deck. Never really played it. But during some missions there were occasions, where you can play cards to get some benefits.
And that high stakes tournament probably gives good profit too.
Question regarding Triss:
Spoiler:
I also fucked the this hot redhead and got her to stay to stay. But where the hell is he now?!
I found a crystal from Phillipa Eilhart, and want to give it to Triss

Too late, but don't worry you'll be able to give it to Yen a bit later on (or you can give it to radovid, don't know what that does)

some are debatable, but that one in front of the "red light house" seals the deal.

3-5fps depending on scene, but even then.. that's not always guaranteed. What I have been doing is measuring GPU usage instead; a 75% usage scenario will become an 83-85% one with ReShade enabled. So if I'm already at 99% due to a heavy scene, with 50fps capped in RTSS, it may end up being 45-50fps instead.
It's a hit, but not a major one. I don't use ReShade any more though because, to be honest, it all looks pretty crap in this game.. every single preset I've tried just makes everything darker and since I play borderless, I can't adjust gamma to compensate.
Broke the 200-hour mark just as I reached Act 3 I'm gonna slow down again now to complete a bunch of quests that were 3-4 levels above me before I started the long story bit in act 2 that didn't allow for free roaming. Now I'm 1-2 levels above those pending quests. Among them, the gwent tournament
So I got an update on the Coronation quest music bug. Apparently major story cutscenes/events will fix the bug and everything goes back to normal. Loading saves works and what not. For me personally a Ciri part fixed the problem. So I suppose that more people might have had the bug but didn't notice it.

Thx, good to know. I think i'll just lower the saturation instead of using reshade. But again, not gonna give this a serious shot until more bugs are fixed..
I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?
Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!
Reshade is 2 or 3 fps hit if you use the basics ( smaa of 0.08, lumasharpen at 0.65 and curves at 0.25) anything more than this and u will start losing 1 fps for every other option, depending on how heavy they are tuned

Nilfgaard and Northern Realms are quite evenly matched, with Nilfgaard actually better in the long run. Northern Realms appear to have great faction ability, but then again, you do only get one extra card per battle. That's offset by Nilfgaardian leaders last ability, and then they get the advantage with the number of their medics that they have.
yep, i switched from northern realms to nilfgaard deck, have 4 or 5 cards there with damage rating 10, many of them aditionally medics, it rapes northern realms even with their extra card.
I don't know if it was mentioned before, but you can romance and see every sex scene in the game without Geralt ending alone in the end, just tell Triss that you want to "try" instead of loving her. It worked for my playthrough, i expected to see the threesome scene, but instead i got the scene with Yennefer and the house.
The skies shall rain fire and the seas will become as blood.
