This sucked if you were going for the Pacifist achievement as you wouldn't know until the end of the game if you "killed" anyone or not. Only 2.7% got that one on the original (2.6% in the DC.) I gave up trying after the third playthrough.

Yea, I got that one. Plenty of quicksave/quickload involved unfortunately. Sad I'd say the hardest part of that one was when you were trying to save a certain someone (not going to mention who for fear of spoilers, but if you played, you know! )

That and the fucking books/datapads/whatever they were called. If you're playing without a list it's easy to miss. After my last playthrough and I didn't get the achievement I went and looked at a list and it was early on that I missed one freaking one. Gave up on that one too

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Really looking forward to that shit BUT let's start by being mature and intelligence for once. What we will see at the E3 wont survive the next year. It will look worse that we can agree on.

And we have to wait at least a year maybe 1,5 or more so lets not get tooo fucking excited. Damn it's gonna be a fucking nice game I am sure Smile

I don't care if it takes 1,5 year to release the game. If it's as good as HR, I can wait all that time Smile

Well that looks about as graphically awkward as the previous one. Will buy.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."

"a phenomenon."

I loved the detail in the maps and areas, they look far more impressive than DXHR does.. which really should go without saying, but god.. I hope that's XBONE footage, I really do. Framerate so bad it gave me nausea and aliasing that caused my eyes to bleed Crying or Very sad

Animations looked clunky as well. In that scene with Jensen running and jumping for the transport especially.

Although I do remember DX:HR looking a bit weird at times as well in some gameplay trailers and looked and felt better in-game in the end.

Like this for example:

So maybe this will also be better "in the flesh".

I'm pretty sure the reason it doesn't look like an Ubisoft game at E3 reveal is because they're actually starting to show games as they are now in development and not as vertical slices built specifically for E3 and what not. Seen some other trailers like this recently, although fewer than I should've. Hopefully that trend will finally stop (obviously not from Ubisoft, better keep digging that grave).

It's better to make your game look worse in pre-release promos and when it's time for release surprise people with a superior product than what's been shown up until then, than the other way around.

I'm not liking the look of that at all. Graphically in the context of everything else we have seen over the last couple of days it was comparatively poor. As Sabin mentioned the frame rate was jarring and for a trailer you would expect that the lip synching would even be somewhere close. Mad

Still, fingers crossed! Very Happy

I'm wearing my cautiously optimistic coat at the moment. The design and style haven't been changed which is pleasant, there's still some of the good ol' piss filter but I'm not even mad.

As usual though until I see proper unaltered gameplay showing cyberpanther Deus-exiness with possibly no Bayness or other next gen trickeries to make kids go all oomph, I really can't get too interested/excited.
Another leaked beta would be even better to clarify all the doubts Razz

@diaboliquin: yep that's what I'm talking about, that right there belongs to the Mark 'n Execute category xD. Thankfully the multi-shock is optional so we can happily ignore all the Octopus-augs.

( The default one should be this )

It could be tied into energy use. If you want to stun multiple enemies you will expend more energy rendering other stuff useless for some time.

Although I seem to recall them saying that they wanted to rework the energy system since they want people to use their augs more freely. You often had to keep your fancier gadgets under wraps in HR lest you expend those precious energy bars, to the point that you barely got to use them.

Hnnnnngggnn.

God damn that looks good. Oh and I don't care about the multi-shock thing either, it's no different to the Typhoon stuff in DXHR... completely optional Very Happy
