|
 |
I've been with my girlfriend now a few days over 2 years, she has been the longest girlfriend i have had and i have not had many over the years.
She has just started a new job but i am still looking for work as i am unemployed, hopefully this will change the next few days.
She had a miscarriage about 9 months into our relationship, we didn't expect her to get pregnant but she did and miscarriaged 12 weeks into pregnancy.
Now we have been looking for a place to live, i say we mainly her has she wants out of her house.
I live at my parents still and I've always said it will be hard getting me out of here which it had been.
Now she said on the phone to me last night that she feels we are drifting apart?
I've felt like this on n off throughout the relationship as she has been very hard work at times mainly when drunk, a nightmare you could say but sober we are fine.
I feel like we are getting to the big question round about now.
Do i move in a house with her?
I love her i do but i hate certain things about her too mainly when pissed, but they seem to have pattered out so to speak as we have gone on in the relationship.
Basically i simply do not know what to do, I am in a catch 22 situation atm.
Do i leave her and go my own way or do i get working and move in with her and start a family as this is what she wants.
But it's all the crap i have had to put up with mainly on the drink that is swaying my decisions because i know for a fact that if we move in together and we get drinking and an argument starts it will just make me wonder why i moved in there in the first place.
Basically I am after some info on what to do here?
Has anyone been in a situation like this before?
She said to me last night on the phone that she feels we are drifting apart?
I think the relationship has improved alot of late.

Stop drinking.
Get a job.
Move out of your parent's house.
Only then do you think about proposing.

Your right there basically see what it is like then go from there.
I could always move back to my parents if i do not like the way it is living together.

This. Put the relationship on hold. Get yourself together (physically/mentally/financially). For your drinking problem get some Alcoholism Counselling.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

It all sounds a bit 'chavy' to me if I'm being honest.
Unemployed, drinking, living at parents and knocking her up... I mean if you break it down like that. Shouldn't that tell you something?
Work on yourself man... by the sounds of it you really need to. Starting with not drinking or not drinking to get drunk would be a nice start.
Tackle all the other stuff when you are in a better place.

It all boils down whether or not you're willing to improve/adapt in order to make her happy..if you really care, then you need to do something concrete now, or the whole thing will bite your back when it's already too late. Do the smart thing Theescapist
And yes, a great start would be dropping the booze asap. You'll instantly gain +10 in Wisdom and Willpower, among the other things.

 | Do you use regular duct tape or panzertape? Mine managed to get through it twice by simply gnawing on it for just a week or two :/ Good thing that I had the chain you suggested...

I found that electrical tape is the best, as it's not as wide as the others and can therefor go around the wrists easier yet is strong enough to not come loose when strained.
