Does anyone know what game are they talking about?

Libel law requires some of those involved to testify about what happened, and all have so far proven reluctant to do so. At least three of the players, however, have privately confirmed the story.
Were they to do so publicly, it would start the rewriting of the history of the competition. Then again, you really shouldn’t to delve so deep to do that.

That's probably it. It's pretty obvious by the article it has to be a western team playing an eastern team and it happened in the final. So can only be one of the followings: Barcelona - Steaua Steaua - Milan Red Star - Marseille So yeah, you're most likely correct that it's the Red Star game Edit: Well... could be one of the Portuguese teams too I guess, I don't know how well off were they as a country back then?
