That was fast. Thanks. Very Happy

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Use the crossbow. Apparently it is cursed to only work properly underwater; while flying in air the bolts do fuckall damage, but underwater it's one hit kill like normal crossbows. Laughing

And I wouldn't buy the 70 kg saddle since:

Really? I wouldn't have even tried that as shooting enemies on land basically just tickles them a bit. Good to know that underwater it's an insta-kill, thanks for the advice. ^_^

Does anyone know if there's someway to haggle with shopkeepers? Or at least somehow being able to drive down the prices? Surprised

There's a startup.bundle mod on Reddit for improving the sale prices so you don't get ripped off constantly, but it's for 1.02.. needs to be updated for 1.03, of you could get QuickBMS, extract the files yourself, edit the XMLs, repack the files.

Well in an ideal world, if the keeper was fit and female, Geralt would use his third sword to persuade a lower price.... in the game world I would like to have been able to use Axii...

But in this game, nada Sad

Nah, you're essentially fucked as far as sell prices go (dunno if it varies per merchant, but one I was selling to was giving just over 11% of the item's value).

You could try this though, the edit3 one:

https://www.reddit.com/r/witcher/comments/36n88x/witcher_3_weight_limit_mod/

Might still work with the latest version, unless the 1.03 patch did something to merchants too - patchlog didn't mention it at least.

There's blood on the ground, or did you mean some other effect besides the blood pool that comes out of corpses?
(And as of this patch should now also work for dead bodies in water.)

EDIT: Ah you must mean splashes of blood on the ground during combat.

It modifies startup.bundle and that has been patched/modified with the new patch, so I wouldn't risk using the old one Sad

Ah right, well ignore that bit then. Razz

So the game won't load loose files as an override then if you were just to unpack them? That's a real shame.

Not yet, but once REDKit launches I reckon they will. It's no way to share mods by having to share 100-300MB "bundle" files.

Wow, that amount of crafting items is almost an overkill. I am only lev.5 and the inventory is so full of crafting items and recipes, its insane.
The only problem ist, that most crafted stuff requires lev. 12-25 or above... there seem to far less recipes for lower levels.
Man, a long way to go, especially since leveling takes a pretty long time in my opinion.

Sure, the designer know how to motivate players which are more interested in optimizing the Witcher into a pefectly equipped killing machine as well as players which want to experience the story. Very Happy

The lighting is so uneven, in places it can look amazing, but most of the time in shaded areas you can't make out anything since its solid black.

Turning up the gamma makes everything washed out along with the pitch black shadows. Surprised
