was playing witcher 3 last night on my laptop, standard install, yada yada, played for 4 hours and saved the game... installed it this morning on my main pc, went to load my savegame from the steam cloud and I get a whinge that I cant because I need the beard and hairstyle DLC... so last night I have or had it on my laptop install... but not on my main pc install this morning... lolwut.
but what I played last night has me impressed, big open map, lots to do, shitloads of details, dynamic weather and enemies.
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth

@sabin1981: did you figure out what option to choose if you don't have WItcher 2 saves?

Wow this is such a great game - everything on ultra except gayworks on my 280x at 1080p and suprised how Schmick it is!
Gayworks even just for Geralts hair just kills performance.

Especially Dark Souls 1 controls are perfectly direct and precise. The first thing that popped into my mind when I tried the parcour tutorial in W3 was how awful the controls are and how nice it would've been to have DS 1 controls in here.
If you lock onto an enemy Geralt moves like a tortoise, when he is not in combat he walks like a granny and if you walk a bit faster he suddenly has the turn radius of a fucking truck!

You paired a Titan with an i3 ? |
Yes. I still have to see a CPU-bottlenecked game. |
Tried any of the Battlefields (3/4) no doubt your fps is lacking there due to your CPU

Mhhh what kind of AA is this now? Dont see a drop in FPS when activating it so it is FXAA probably? Certainly not MSAA or SSAA. Activate or deactivate it? Unsure at this point...

Activate hardware cursor in the graphics menu! Last option at the bottom.

So, the game seems to run alright but I keep getting freezes (not responding) at random occasions. Everything from riding the horsey to browsing through the inventory.

Do you activate the AA or not? Is it FXAA? Then better not activate that shit...

Game not starting should be enough of a clue.
