Kinda defeats the purpose of calling it "Ultra" though. Not to mention most of the people are far away from 970/980,so it would also make more sense to develop "dirty peasant" section better. As it stands right now, it's meh on either end.
Yup. Pretty much what I was going to say. I'm tottaly fine with benchmarking low on 720p and medium/high on 1080p. But ultra? At least benchmark with 1080p and 1440p.

There's a way to establish what you did in the past without a savefile - by talking about it with someone (irrc). What I do not know is whether it covers every possible "world state" that could be otherwise imported by save - or whether it touches W1 for example.

Is it like skyrim? is the combat real time? haven't even seen a video of 3 or the previous games.
Witcher blows Skyrim out of the water in pretty much everything except being moddable, but beware that the combat isn't exactly a strength in the series.
And as "big" as this game is going to be for CDPR (it sits only under GTAV in terms of streaming. . .which is a big deal) - Skyrim levels of sales? I don't think so.
