Any way to turn off that auto peeking when I scope in cover? And the game is garbage at the start. Really had to push myself to go through it. Then it gets better when u can finally start shooting. I also hate how they make the game longer by those retarded intervals of climbing and opening doors and the same vents with the amazing pipe over and over again.

I had problems with the cutscenes, most would not show for me and sometimes I would have no sound afterwards. But restarting the game helped me pass those parts somehow. Only the final scene after the boss would not trigger, had to watch it on Youtube.

He's full of shit as always.

"Back in my days you needed to know the story in order to finish the game."
While I can see what he wants to say with this, it is just wrong. Where the fuck did you need to know anything in order to finish earlier FPSs? Wolfenstein? Doom? Quake? Just blast everybody, look into every room until you find the exit. Granted, you had to search for the exit a lot of times, but I will leave it up to debate if that is something one would actually desire. But knowing the story was never necessary in order to finish any FPS worth mentioning.

Seriously Hfric what is it with you to always 'spoil' with posting videos/pics of the end of a game or not using spoiler tags in the movies/shows threads.

Are you that much of an arse? It happens way too often for it not being on purpose.

Confused what spoiler ? you get the folder kill helga .. that is your mission you get at the FIRST SCREEN OF THE GAME ... not mention other story things ... jesus grow up ... even trailers showed it Laughing thats like crying about spilled milk

and tell me how can you spoil a game that's the remake of Wolfenstein 1 ... you already knew the story, NOW you only play it for the visuals

how can you spoiler a thing when you don't know the context of it ? come on , don't over dramatise it ...

one shows the time you can complete the game
one shows the credits logo
one shows a guy on a boat
one shows you with a folder
one shows dead nazi

and then you came along and gave them context

heck did you even saw the many Trailers/interviews/footage THIS GAME HAD !!! that tell the WHOLE STORY LINE

I'm mad? No, you haven't spoiled a thing for me so far.
You could say I'm annoyed that after a few people complaining on you (and you know damn well it's not just GTA) you are still too dense to not think: mmm, maybe I should think before I post something.

Btw it's fresh to hear from you "to grow up" when you seem to got stuck at the age when idiot jenny was here. And if you miss Cox... I would hope you would try to be just 1% like him. It would be quite an improvement. Laughing

I finally installed the game too and finished it in one sitting this afternoon like the old - bloody times (but mostly because I needed free space asap). It was short but intense. A more of the same that was needed, considering the scarcity of shooters these days which is preposterous Mad
This expansion has some flaws (a narrative structure much weaker than the original game, and some odd level design decisions/hand-holding) but when it comes to the mere pew pewing, I found it spot on as usual, and not even a mega-engine always trying its best to side with the Nazis prevented it xD

I liked the possibility to be a panther, stealthing around, but it's not the recommended approach in my opinion because it's really too easy (very Metro Last Light-like, also in terms of AI). I just used the trusty and better Rambo-style-lite with some strategic approach (disabling the human alarms first), much better. Razz I'd give it a solid 7+/10 for the effort, hoping to see a full-fledged sequel soon(ish).

Might have been asked before, but does anyone know how to install this game on win 8.1 (or if anyone has the problem I have). Clicking setup does nothing. Setting compatibility and running as admin also doesn't help. Looked around, and some people have exact same problem on win 8.1 but no solutions.

Playing this reminded me of my most hated aspect of The New Order...BJ's stupid monologues. "Grew up in a cabin. Came home late one night. Grandpappy spit his chaw and tanned my hide." Thank you for that pertinent information.
