Well nothing happens, shows need to be downloaded today. It says the RSS has no needed eps, the new eps are properly marked as wanted though. I assume the updating of these RSS feeds is very slow?

No, in most cases they're generated on the fly for you as you request them. Which providers have you enabled in Sickbeard so far?

Well only Womble and Bin-req is useable, otehrs require (usually paid) registrations. Why are sites like Yabse, Binsearch and NZBindex missing?

edit: EZRSS seems to work too, I get no errors atleast.

Depends on indexers. NZB file get uploaded to site, RSS update might trigger right away or it might trigger at set intervals. But we are talking about minutes here.

Keep in mind, Sick Beard doesn't take timezones in account and it starts checking for the release the day shows airs. But there is quite a delay between the show air time and release time.

For example, here, SB downloads Spartacus: Gods of the Arena almost the day after the show air time.

That's why it's a good idea to keep machine with Sick Beard running 24h / day.

These shows have been available on usenet since midday my local time, so it should download them immediately when I fire it up in the evening. I assume 7-8 hours is ample time to update those RSS feeds.

In such case, you probably was to late. RSS feed at index providers got updated with newest NZBs, usually it's about 20 <-> 50 latest uploaded NZBs.

Keep Sick Beard running 24 h / day.

EDIT:

Also, the thing with RSS, sometimes episodes could "fall off" from it. Let's say RSS holds latest 50 updates and updates every minute, but during that one minute 60 newest NZBs got uploaded. In this scenario the first 10 NZBs would "fall off" from RSS feed.

Try NZB.su, that one seems to work pretty well, registration only takes like 20 seconds and it's free Smile
