I just cast my vote. Preorder cancelled. Will still play the game though.

@Interinactive
They improved performance on xbone post-patch by reducing settings like AO, AF etc
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

22 GB for a huge open world ? Yes, it is possible, but only with very low quality graphics. I do not think that I will enjoy the free exploration with graphics like this. No buy. Will still play through the story.

Oh well, just another reason not to upgrade from my 670 just yet.
Should be able to run at 60fps/1080p nicely with most of the settings at high/ultra.
Hairworks excepted, probably.

That's a bit silly, the visuals are poorer than the earlier footage but it's hardly ASCII.

Skyrim is the only exception to the install size rule. The reason it looks good is mods. Only god knows how many hours the thousands of modders spent improving Skyrim.
Somehow I doubt we gonna see the same thing with Witcher 3.

it would be very heartwarming to see a massive modding community getting behind a witcher 3 restoration project... i know its a pipe dream, but it'd be so great to see...
until cdpr shuts the project down with lawyers, at least...

Well, it seems that guards NPC still do have that ridiculous mecanic "HE OPENED A CHEST THAT WASN'T HIS BUT THAT WAS LITERALLY IN THE CENTER OF THE VILLAGE, UNGUARDED, LET'S KILL THAT DUDE DEAD!". Seems that a lot of stupid RPG things from the past are still strong in this one, also with good ol' scenaristic practicalities like some dude just "has" a power or an ability that isn't lore-based or even logic, just because yay, teh plot thickens!
It will still probably good, but way overhyped from what I've seen.

@chiv
And if they shut it down we'll see posts claiming they were forced to do it by greedy M$

Looking at that pc shot I think even an amiga 500 could handle it, what a terrible image I would cut myself quiet easy on those whores as well look how sharp they are
the interior lighting is infact looking pretty terrible. Its like it was made by interns.
