The game will look pretty sharp and good and not ugly. That's for damn sure. Thank god...all these extremely bad pics are there everytime. Watch Dogs looked like a PS2 game from Neogaf screens thank god that was not the case
@ehu: Of course it will look ok, no even good I might add
A perfect example of a HEAVILY compressed image where you can still tell that it looks rubbish.
What's with that anyway? It looks broken
According to the PS4 reviews earlier in the week, there's a bug that causes the post-processing to just disable itself. It looks like that's what has happened. No way the game looks like as normal... that's Witcher 1 levels.

The reason for that is because CDPR has still not fucked me over, I know sabin and some others had difficulties with the witcher 2 at release, I was one of the lucky ones who had no problems (for once) and I also really enjoyed the first game.
Oh I had no problems with the game itself, just the launch performance which was downright terrible The game was glorious!

sabin and others in this thread who voice their annoyances at all of this aren't raging or saying they won't love the game when it comes out, they're just tired of being lied to by what seems to be every single company every time a AAA game comes out. It hurts especially much when they get lied to by a company that has treated them well before.

A question regarding exploration. I read somewhere they said something like "You see that mountain up there? You can go up there. There are no invisible walls." or some thing like that... Does that mean I'd be able to go up the mountain to the right shown in the video above this post?
Yesssssss....buttttttttttt... not as easily as they initially made it sound. You *can* go anywhere you see, but since the world is actually split into several "zones", you can't just walk straight to that mountain from where you see it across the world. You have to travel through zones and loading screens to get there. They clarified it a few days ago Now there's another proviso too, there's no telling that you could actually climb to the top of that mountain, it may well have no footholds or paths and be too steep to climb to the top, but you should still be able to go TO the mountain
I watched a video on youtube and Geralt couldn't jump over some stuff / or jump down, I don't remember exactly, and by the look of things he shouldn't have had any troubles jumping over it/ jumping down, it looked as if he was hitting an invisible wall.

from what they ve shown map-wise a few days ago, the game is split into 3 maps, 1 huge main area and 2 smaller ones. the reason for the split was because geographically these places are far away from each other, but within the main area of the game (which alone is bigger than all of skyrim) there are no zones and loading, its truly open world. the huge city of novigrad as far as i understood is a seamless part of the game's main map, with over 2000 openable doors without any loading. henceforth most of what you see should be reachable without any loading as long as there is no cheap invisible wall. i doubt that you can see places from the other 2 zones as theyre supposed to be far away.

Yes, there are definitely invisible walls as seen in videos. As for the distances, CDPR have already clarified what it meant when they said you could go anywhere you see and how it actually works, but I didn't make a note of the article/interview it was, sorry, I'm sure someone else has a better memory and can show it.

thats pretty unfair to witcher 1. witcher 1 never looked that bad.
